Grace Randolph And Classwork And Removing Malware From A Desktop Computer

Dream 1

All that I can remember of this dream is that it involved my male cousin DE, it was probably a negative dream where there was an argument and/or he was angry/unstable and/or something like that, but I can not remember; and that is all that I can remember of this dream.

Dream 2

All that I can remember of this dream is that it took place inside a classroom during the day where I was a student among other students, including Grace Randolph, and our teacher was a woman but I can not remember what she looked like; and class/school/college was probably about halfway done for the day.

I think that our teacher got mad/angry about something and/or the class so she gave us sudden classwork that needed to be done before class was over, she split us into teams with two people per team and Grace and I were on the same team, and we each had to hurry to do some research and combine our work to finish; and so everyone started rushing to finish this sudden classwork.

Grace worked from her desk maybe using her smartphone and data plan and book to do her research for her part of the classwork, I did not have a smartphone or a data plan like most of the other students, and so I had to use an old desktop computer with an old version of Microsoft Windows that I probably put together/built for the school/college in an old past dream because this old computer desktop was familiar to me.

I knew that the old desktop computer did not have an anti-virus / anti-malware program/software installed, I had wanted to install one long ago but usually free anti-virus/anti-malware programs/software is not free for schools/colleges/businesses and this was a very old version of Windows so I did not want to risk doing something illegal, and so I did not install an anti-virus/anti-malware program long ago hoping that the school would buy a program to protect the computer or find a free one that they could legally install; but they did not, and so I realized that the computer was infected with malware when I opened the browser.

The computer was running very slow, the default browser home page was changed by some malware to another website, the default search engine was changed to another search engine by some malware, et cetera and so I started trying to download several free programs to help me remove the malware and help protect the computer in the future hoping that it was not illegal; and so I downloaded Microsoft Security Essentials for resident/constant/real-time protection for the computer, I downloaded Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free as an on-demand scanner to remove malware, and I downloaded HitmanPro Free as a backup on-demand scanner that would automatically do a quick scan every time the computer starts up.

I installed them, updated them, adjusted the settings, and I started doing scans with them trying to remove all the malware before doing my research for my part of the classwork but time was running out, so I tried to hurry, but it did not seem like I would finish removing all the malware in time to be able to also finish my research and then write my part of the classwork and combine it with Grace’s part of the classwork.

I decided to also download the free portable Emsisoft Emergency Kit to do a full/complete scan, I started updating it and then I checked on the other scans which were starting to finish, and I started removing the malware that those other scans found; and then I was going to start my research as the Emsisoft Emergency Kit did a full/complete scan.

I probably stopped to briefly talk to Grace about the situation and she was almost done or done with her part of the classwork (so was most of the class) and time was running out so I started hurrying to change the default home page and search engine back so that I could start doing my research after removing the last of the malware as the Emsisoft Emergency Kit does its full/complete scan, but I woke up.

The end,

-John Jr
