Daily Prompt

I usually do not do this but today I decided to answer the Daily Prompt on The Daily Post, called A Tale Of Two Cities, and it asked the question:

If you could split your time evenly between two places, and two places only, which would these be?

My answer is:

The real world and the dream world.

Pea Coat

Yesterday my third exchange men’s Old Navy pea coat in size large in the color heather gray, that I got on sale for $35 with free shipping back when it was on sale, arrived and it is a a bit larger/longer on me than I like but it will do unless a medium tall would work better (I am not tall, and so I doubt it); and I finally got my return shipping label for my defective (sewing flaws) men’s Sportier pea coat in size medium in the color charcoal so I sent it back yesterday for a refund, and so that should be the end of the pea coat saga for now hopefully.

Dream

I forgot all of my dreams from last night except for barely part of the end of my last dream because I kept waking up and going back to sleep and continuing the dream from where I left off each time as a result of something that kept happening in the dream, probably because I needed to urinate, and maybe because my body was ready to wake up.

I think that the end of the dream was a bit video game-like, I am not sure if I was in the dream or not or if I was experiencing things from other dream characters’ points-of-view or not, I just know that there was a man and a woman and a baby with whitish colored skin at the end of the dream; and other things that I can not remember happened before this part of the dream.

Things probably started outside during the day but then moved inside a tall metal dimly lit windowless warehouse-like building, moving between zones/areas/buildings/inside/outside involved loading screens and load times like a video game, and there were challenges and/or puzzles that you had to defeat/complete/survive before being able to move to the next area/zone.

The woman held the baby like the baby was hers and it is possible that the man with them did not even know them but I am not sure, I just know that he tried to protect them during the dream so he was doing most of the fighting/work/et cetera, and at some point they possibly completed one of the challenges inside the warehouse but then the professional wrestler Big Show was the next challenge that they needed to defeat so he attacked them.

They tried to escape Big Show by running outside the warehouse into a junkyard-like area, there was a loading screen when they did this, and when they got to the junkyard they were trapped because they were only allowed in these two zones/areas until they defeat Big Show; and so they mostly tried to run and hide from him, but eventually he would knock them unconscious and I would wake up in the real world each time that this happened but I would go right back to sleep and continue the dream where it left off like nothing happened.

It was like things would reset like when you reload a save game back to where you died, this cycle kept continuing with them getting knocked unconscious and me instantly waking up in the real world, and this became annoying because I wanted to sleep and it happened so many times and so fast at first that it took me a while to realize that something strange was going on and that what was happening in the dream kept waking me up; and so them getting knocked unconscious kept waking me up like we were connected or something like that.

I continued going back to sleep but the cycle continued so at some point I got up to finally use the bathroom because I needed to urinate badly and voice record the little bit of the dream that I could remember, unfortunately I forgot almost all of my dreams by this point, and I was never able to go back to sleep after this and it was time to get up so I stayed awake.

The end,
