The Daily Post had a Daily Prompt today called Never Again, and this is what it said:
Have you ever gone to a new place or tried a new experience and thought to yourself, “I’m never doing that again!”?
Tell us about it.
Thanks for the idea, emilyeggplant!
And this is my response:
My parent’s once bought several frozen Marie Callender’s brand Lemon Meringue Pie that were on sale at a grocery store, I remember tasting a piece of one and it was terrible, and I let my family taste it; and no one in the house liked it at all, and it was the worst lemon pie that we had ever tasted.
It tasted like cheap and super artificially flavored fake lemon juice drink poured into a pie crust with whipped cream added and then it was frozen, and so it tasted nasty; and so we returned all the unopened ones to the store, and we never bought that brand of lemon pie again (some of their other pies and desserts are okay (average), but that one was nasty).
The end,

Initially and upon seeing the attached image of what appears to be slices of lemon pie to this blog post and after reading about your bad lemon pie experience, I do hope y’all try cream pies, which I happen to like regardless of location of service. Good luck next time, John Jr!

I would be willing to try that, any types and/or brands of cream pies in particular Flynn? 🙂
Thank you,

First thought was banana cream pie, then there’s chocolate, too.

How unfortunate, but it is good to hear that my family and I were not the only ones. 😀
Thank you for commenting Rogershipp. 🙂
