WordPress.com decided to not release annual blog reports for our blogs in the year 2016:
And so I will finally make my own annual report for 2016 thanks to a bit of inspiration that I got from Grandtrine’s post: A Review Of 2016, from Sqlwithmanoj’s 2016 Blogging In Review, and from Automattic’s 2016 Year Review.
I will simply copy my 2016 stats for my WordPress.com blog, unfortunately I can not copy and paste most of them, and so I will have to try to manually type them.

2016 was my most successful year in blogging in most areas except for comments and maybe likes and maybe new subscribers.
Hopefully WordPress.com will change their mind and start doing the annual blog reports again, this time with an updated look like on Automattic’s 2016 Year Review, and I hope that they will release the 2016 reports even if they are late.
