What is it?
The low-budget American comedy horror film Get Out which was directed by Jordan Peele.
What is it about?
The movie is about a man named Andre Hayworth (played by the actor Daniel Kaluuya) who goes with his girlfriend Rose Armitage (played by the actress Allison Williams) to visit her family for the first time, during their visit Andre starts to notice some strange things, and eventually he has to face the reality of what is going on.
This is how Rotten Tomatoes describes this movie:
Now that Chris and his girlfriend, Rose, have reached the meet-the-parents milestone of dating, she invites him for a weekend getaway upstate with Missy and Dean.
At first, Chris reads the family’s overly accommodating behavior as nervous attempts to deal with their daughter’s interracial relationship, but as the weekend progresses, a series of increasingly disturbing discoveries lead him to a truth that he could have never imagined.
What is something that you liked about it?
I like how this movie was better than your usual low-budget American comedy horror film, it was not too goofy which is very surprising considering that it was directed by a comedian, even though the trailer showed too much there was still a surprising twist, and I liked how a certain part of the movie somewhat reminded me of something from the film Under The Skin (2013).
What is something that other people will like about it?
I think that people will be surprised that Jordan Peele was able to make a good low-budget movie that is a comedy horror film without making it too comedic, and I think that they will like this film because it is better and different than your usual American comedy horror film.
Final Thoughts
I think that the film Get Out was alright, and that it is worth watching at least once and maybe again to see if you will notice some things that you may have missed before.
The end,

Hello True George,
It is definitely good for an American comedy horror film if you are comparing it to garbage like the movie Meet The Spartans, but I think that the critics are overrating it because it has a 99% out of 100% on Rotten Tomatoes which makes it maybe the highest rated film that I have seen; it is an alright film, but it is not that good to get a score that high in my opinion.
I am not sure if this is true or not, but one website says that Nextflix will get the movie Get Out on June 20, 2017 so you will probably have to wait some more if you want to watch it through official sources.
