What is it about?

This is how the IMDb describes this anime movie:

Based on the 2009 game, Bayonetta: Bloody Fate follows the story of the witch Bayonetta, as she defeats the bloodthirsty Angels and tries to remember her past from before the time she awoke, 20 years ago.

Along her side are a mysterious little girl who keeps calling her “Mummy”, a journalist that holds a personal grudge against Bayonetta and an unknown white-haired woman who seems to know more than she is willing to reveal about Bayonetta’s time before her sleep.

What do I like about it, and what might other people like about it?

I liked the animation and the action, and I think that other people might like this as well.

Final Thoughts

The Otaku Judge’s review called REVIEW OF BAYONETTA: BLOODY FATE of this anime movie was pretty accurate.

I liked and was amazed by the visuals, but there was not enough story and details and character development; but the action was pretty good.

I would give it a 3 out of 5, and I liked it better than Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV; but it is pretty forgetful.

  1. Sounds like you enjoyed it more than I did. I like Bayonetta’s character design, but this film and her game didn’t win me over. Maybe I will give her another chance on my Nintendo Switch.

    1. Hello The Otaku Judge,

A little bit more, but the movie is forgettable; and I this movie and the games are not likely to win us over, and Bayonetta in one of the Smash Bros. games is probably better than playing through a Bayonetta game but I have not played either so I have no idea.
