My Thoughts

It is a shame how ignored, underrated, under advertised, under talked about, et cetera this television show is.

When I first heard about it I thought that it was going to be a cheap want to be Game Of Thrones, but when I watched it I was surprised.

This show manages to do more for probably less in comparison to Game Of Thrones.

This show has good visuals, a good setting, good props, good acting, good story, good dialogue, pretty good battles, and it does all of this in a more realistic way than some shows so it definitely feels more historical.

My brother GC and I have seen all of the seasons so far, if you like Game Of Thrones, then you should like this show.

This is one of the shows that Game Of Thrones fans should be watching as they wait for each new season of Game Of Thrones.

This show is more consistent than Game Of Thrones in my opinion, and it even beats Game Of Thrones in some areas and it possibly became better than the later season or two of Game Of Thrones.

I am shocked that the History channel could make a television show of this quality, when they finish this show, I hope that they will make similar shows to it based on other time periods.

Definitely check this show out one day, there will be a season 6, and so I recommend starting the show now and maybe you will get caught up before season 6 starts.

Hello The Otaku Judge,

I was shocked as well, I did not think that the History channel was capable of that kind of quality on maybe a lower budget, Game Of Thrones will probably win overall (it is not really fair considering Game Of Thrones huge budget and lore and the fact that is it on HBO where they can take more risks than a normal television show); but considering those things it is a surprising show for such a channel, just like how the 2004 Battlestar Galactica television show was the best thing that the Syfy Channel had made to me back then and probably until this day just on visuals and atmosphere et cetera alone.

Honestly the History channel should have used the Game Of Thrones off seasons to their advantage by advertising for Game Of Thrones fans to watch their show until the next Game Of Thrones season airs, and then more people would have seen it and known about it.

I watched all the seasons the writers infused historic events; although the time lines & who was involved was somewhat rewritten the story of the event was intact.
It isn’t confirmed if Ragnar was a real person what is known about him came from a Norse manuscript. But Bjorn Ironside was a real person and the first King of Swedeen. Rollo was a real figure also and so was Ivar the Boneless famous for raids in Ireland & Scotland; his burial site was recently discovered in England….Alfred the Great was also a real life figure an ancestor of today’s British Queen famous for keeping his kingdom Viking free. Heard he had some type of connections with ET (Another subject may be featured on my blog in the near future)
I wonder if there is going to be 6th season. I heard the series was canceled

Hello True George,

I apologize for the super late response.

Thank you for sharing that and I am glad that you have also seen all of the seasons of Vikings so far, I wonder if they took any samples for genetic testing?

Fortunately there will be a season 6, and it will probably be better than Game Of Thrones (Season 8) (which was possibly the worst season of Game Of Thrones).

Hello True George,

I have never seen a full episode of either of those but I have probably seen a few pieces when flipping through TV channels years ago, and I have never seen any of the newer Star Trek television shows.

My brother GC and I are currently watching several television shows besides all the anime TV shows that we watch on Toonami on Saturdays, and one of the non-anime TV shows is a Hulu anthology television show that I learned about from an online comment called Into The Dark which is currently better than The Twilight Zone (2019) and Black Mirror (Season 5) and Channel Zero.

I would not have known about it if it were not for a random comment online, it is strange that no one is talking about it when it is better than various TV shows that I have seen recently, and it is still on-going and has been going on since last year; it is an anthology show where ever episode is inspired by a different holiday, and each episode is like its own movie.
