What is it?
The 2019 supernatural horror web television show Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina Part 2 (Season 2).
What is it about?
This is how Fandom describes this web television show:
Part 2 finds Sabrina exploring her darker side, curious to learn more about her heritage, while struggling to maintain her friendships in the mortal world.
Romantically, Sabrina is caught in an unholy love triangle between sexy warlock Nicholas Scratch and salt-of-the-Earth mortal Harvey Kinkle.
Meanwhile, The Dark Lord, Madame Satan and Father Blackwood continue to conjure chaos in the Spellman household and the town of Greendale.
And they aren’t the only ones trying to raise hell.
Everything is in question — relationships, identity, true intentions — when the devil’s work is at hand.[2]”
My Thoughts
I probably did not like this season as much as the first season. (But I still liked it, but not the ending)
This season was too short, was rushed at the end, was goofier and stupider and a bit campy at times (fortunately not too much), it left more things unexplained, I did not like Sabrina Spellman as much this season, I do not like how familiars are mostly useless, The Dark Lord was underwhelming / under-powered and Sabrina Spellman became overpowered at times, some of the romances did not work well, I do not like how Roz (Rosalind Walker) and the people who knew her handled her vision / eye issue for most of the show (both seasons), I do not like how the Father Blackwood parts of the show devolved, and the show went a little off the rails / crazy at the end; but even with those negatives I still like this show, and it was not as bad as it sounds but I do worry for its future slightly even though I still liked this season overall.
I did like a certain version of Sabrina Spellman this season, and I still liked Kiernan Shipka’s performance as Sabrina; especially her performance of this other version of Sabrina this season.
This is still one of my favorites television shows of the year so far even though I am being more critical of it than the previous season, and this show has been in my dreams a lot (possibly record breaking levels) since I started watching it.
I still find the character Sabrina Spellman and Kiernan Shipka’s performance as this character inspiring in real life, which sounds odd being that I am a several decades old man being inspired by young woman less than two decades old and that this is a television show character, but I find some traits / qualities of this character and Kiernan Shipka’s performance as some traits / qualities that I wish that I had or that I wish that I could improve or that I would like to emulate in my own life.
That is probably one of the reasons that this show has taken over my dreams I assume because part of me would probably like to be more like this character / this actresses performance in some ways et cetera. (Embarrassing, I know)
I still look forward to more seasons, I just hope that they will fix some of the issues in this season going forward, and I definitely recommend watching this show.
The end,
