Jessica Jones (Season 3)

What is it?

The 2019 Netflix American web television show Jessica Jones (Season 3).

What is it about?

This is how Rotten Tomatoes describes this web television show:

When Jessica (Krysten Ritter) crosses paths with a highly intelligent psychopath, she and Trish (Rachael Taylor) must repair their fractured relationship and team up to take him down.

But a devastating loss reveals their conflicting ideas of heroism, and sets them on a collision course that will forever change them both.

My Thoughts

This was possibly my least favorite season of Jessica Jones so far, but I could be wrong.

No one that I follow has even mentioned or reviewed this season yet, I had not even seen a trailer for it, and so I did not even know that the new season had started until I saw the thumbnail for it on an online video streaming website.

The main villain was weak and disappointing, the final battle was anti-climactic, this season was longer than it should have been, Jessica Jones still has not developed as a character or person much or at all, this show has some terrible messages when it comes to sex and drinking and eating and dealing with mental / emotional / social / et cetera problems, and the ending was disappointing.

Jessica Jones is probably my favorite of the Netflix Marvel superhero television shows, and so it was disappointing to see it end on a low-note.

Fortunately it was still better than Iron Fist (Season 2) which was worse (except for one of the villains and the acting of another villain), and so this season was still watchable.

    1. Hello The Otaku Judge,

Yeah, Netflix overall seems to be declining in most of the recent shows and movies that I have watched except for a few like The Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina (which I liked); and so that is even more sad, but hopefully things will improve because I miss some of the surprising quality they had with things like Beasts Of No Nation et cetera.

      Thank you for commenting,
