My Thoughts
This show was a bit better than I had expected, and it had some of the best sword fighting that I have seen in a long time.
My brother GC and I basically binged watched this with us starting it the day that it came out on Friday and we finished it on Sunday.
The show had a good start but started to slow down a bit in the middle and the end, they also started explaining less and less of the world and what was going on which was annoying, and when a certain character made a change she went from being a character whose journey was interesting to one that I did not like anymore and that took up time that would have been better spent explaining the world and showing it.
This show was still pretty good even though they could have shown and explained and done more, the production values were pretty good and the setting, and I want to see the next season and I hope that they will explain and show more and make a few improvements.

Sounds okay, especially given how poorly a lot of stuff associated with video games turns out (granted I know Witcher is technically from a book series). Hopefully if another season gets made it returns to the quality of the earlier episodes.
Fingers crossed that the series does well for Cavill’s sake. He comes across as a liable chap in interviews and was good casting for Superman, but sadly the scripts he was given weren’t great.

Hello The Otaku Judge,
I still need to return to the second Witcher video game, I started playing it several years ago but my hard drive broke, and I never returned to it; and I have the third game, but I have not played it.
The show looked good and Mr. Cavill did good, I also liked the character Queen Calanthe (The Lioness Of Cintra), and I also hope that they will improve on explaining things for the audience and having a more coherent story.
