My Thoughts
Wow! This show had the worst production value that I saw last year, and it was so bad that my brother GC and I stopped watching it after three episodes; and it was one of the worst if not worse TV shows that I saw part of last year.
This show was getting a lot of hate that I assumed to be overreaching and unfair, but to my surprise this show was worse than I had expected.
I only saw the first three episodes so this is not a full review, but the fact that we stopped watching it there is pretty bad.
Ruby Rose was like a one-note moody Justin Bieber with poor acting, which was surprising, I expected better but maybe it was not her fault; but I have never seen her act before so I am not sure (other than a music video).
When they first showed Batwoman wearing the Bat gowl/mask it looked ridiculously large and round and goofy to me, and so I nicknamed her Big Head Batwoman.
Almost everything about this was bad and unbelievable, I have seen low-budget TV shows from a decade ago that looked better or the same as this, and the character Alice (Beth Kane) was so out of place and the acting for her was so bad and over-the-top that she was more cartoony than most cartoons these days.
I can say a few positive things like even though the character Alice was out of place and cartoony and was badly acted I still liked something about her look and personality and the performance oddly but it does not fit this show, Gracyn Shinyei who played a young version of Kate Kane did a good job and out-acted everyone, and the Jared Kushner-looking character Tommy Elliot played by the actor Gabriel Mann brought some fun and personality to his character and had the second best performance that we saw in the first three episodes.
The end,
