My Thoughts

When I first heard about this anime TV show it seemed like an interesting but crazy premise that might just work, but I was afraid that it would become too goofy and too fan servicey.

Fortunately I was mostly wrong (not completely), it was not as good as I had hoped and it was not as Cowboy Bebop-like as I had expected, but it was not bad and I liked it a bit better than Fire Force.

I do not like how they ended on a filler episode, and I do not like the opening and ending credits theme songs in comparison to the short noir jazz/blues-like instrumental music that plays during certain scenes (usually noir style monologues/internal dialogue):

Unfortunately I have not been able to find that song so far other than part of it in one of the trailers and of course in some scenes in the show with dialogue, which is a shame because I like it and it is my favorite anime song of the year so far, and I think that the opening and ending credits theme songs should have matched that style of music.
