What is it?
The 2020 American supernatural horror web television show Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina Part 3 (Season 3).
What is it about?
This is how Fandom describes this TV show:
Part Three finds Sabrina reeling from the harrowing events of Part Two.
Though she defeated her father Lucifer, the Dark Lord remains trapped within the human prison of her beloved boyfriend, Nicholas Scratch.
Sabrina can’t live with herself, knowing that Nick made the ultimate sacrifice and is suffering, burning in Hell under Madam Satan’s watchful eye.
So with an assist from her mortal friends, “The Fright Club” (consisting of Harvey, Rosalind, and Theo), Sabrina makes it her mission to free him from eternal damnation and bring him back into her arms.
However, the Dark Lord’s unseating has sent shockwaves through the realms—and, with no one on the throne, Sabrina must assume the title of “Queen” to defend it against a challenger, the handsome Prince of Hell Caliban.
Meanwhile, in Greendale, a mysterious carnival rolls into town, bringing with it a threat to the Spellmans and the coven: A tribe of pagans looking to resurrect an ancient evil…
My Thoughts
The trailer and teasers for this season had me expecting to hate this season, and I was a bit worried about watching it.
Fortunately this season was not as bad as I thought that it would be, but it was still the worst season so far in my opinion; and I do not look forward to the next season if this show is going to continue to get worse each season.
The tone et cetera of this show has changed even more than season 2 in a direction that I am liking less and less, it seems that this show is now more focused on a younger female crowd or something, and the show is now more campy and rushed and lacking details with more romance drama et cetera.
Sabrina Spellman who was my favorite character in the first season and who was one of my favorite TV show characters that year was even less likable than on season 2, I do not like her character that much at all anymore and this entire season I wanted them to bring back Mandrake Sabrina who I like better than the real Sabrina now, and I was not siding with the protagonists at times because they are all less likeable and give less reasons to side with them in comparison to some of the super vague antagonists who motivations and goals et cetera we did not know most of the time or in much detail.
This season was possibly my second biggest disappointment for a TV show this year so far, I fear for the next season, I hope that they will improve instead of continuing to devolve because I used to like this show.
The end,
