What is it?

The 2018 American computer-animated superhero movie Incredibles 2.

What is it about?

This is how Rotten Tomatoes describes this animated movie:

Everyone’s favorite family of superheroes is back in “Incredibles 2”–but this time Helen (voice of Holly Hunter) is in the spotlight, leaving Bob (voice of Craig T. Nelson) at home with Violet (voice of Sarah Vowell) and Dash (voice of Huck Milner) to navigate the day-to-day heroics of “normal” life.

It’s a tough transistion for everyone, made tougher by the fact that the family is still unaware of baby Jack-Jack’s emerging superpowers.

When a new villain hatches a brilliant and dangerous plot, the family and Frozone (voice of Samuel L. Jackson) must find a way to work together again–which is easier said than done, even when they’re all Incredible.

My Thoughts

I liked the first movie better than this one, this movie was not bad, but I did not like this movie as much as the critics did.

I could imagine this being a fun movie for kids and families to watch in a movie theater though.

The action was pretty good at times, I am not a fan of this style of animation though, and now-a-days I usually prefer Japanese animation over American animation; and so I am usually not interested in movies like this, but the first movie was better than I had expected.

The end,
