My Thoughts
Several years ago I saw a trailer for the Snowpiercer movie by accident, after watching the trailer I expected to hate the movie, and I only watched it because Tilda Swinton was in it; but to my surprise I liked the movie, and so did my brother GC.
The same thing happened with this TV show, I saw a trailer for it by accident, and I expected it to be a cheap cash grab that was not going to be good; but to my surprise I liked it and so did my brother GC, and the production values and the acting was better than we had expected.
Recently there have been many disappointing TV shows and movies that we have seen, and so this was one of the better TV shows that we have seen recently to our surprise.
This TV show was more serious overall than the movie to my surprise which I liked, it made some changes that left us unsure of what would happen next which was nice, but I think that they could have / should have finished this in one season instead of trying to stretch it out further.
