This dream was possibly partly inspired by me watching the opening credits for the TV show His Dark Materials (Season 2) last night when I started watching an episode.
Unfortunately I can not remember most of this dream now, I just know that the end of the dream took place in one or more alternate realities / dimensions / universes / whatever.
There was a man who was trying to be maybe the person over or in control of one or more special items / objects / whatever maybe, this man had some kind of connection with this item or these items, and so did several other people including me.
The other people and I also moved between the different realities / dimensions / universes / whatever, we possibly had an interest in the special items / objects as well, but I can not remember.
I do remember going inside and outside some buildings, but that is all that I can remember of this dream.
