Dream 1
All that I can remember of this dream is that my mom wanted my dad and I to go to what I assumed to be a church event that we and / or she had been to before in the past, and so I went with them to a building that I assumed to be a Christian church.
There was a man with dark-color skin who I assumed to be the preacher there along with some women & other people who I assumed to be church members, they were all standing up, and they were wearing some kind of unknown ancient traditional clothing (maybe African) that was not very covering like it was ancient hot weather clothing.
They had everything decorated and they started what seemed to be an unknown traditional ritual (maybe African) for us, my mom had to place her hand in a basket of flower petals that the women were holding & take a few out, and then maybe they sprinkled some water or something on her & she had to start saying some kind of special phrase or verse or something.
They then sprinkled some water or something on us and continued the ritual or whatever, I was confused because this did not look like any kind of Christian ritual et cetera that I had ever seen before, but the mood & energy of it all was positive & happy & my mom was happy.
Some people entered the building before they could start the normal version of the next step of the ritual, which I think was a bit risqué, and so they started a PG version of the ritual I guess which is a good thing in my opinion.
I am not sure what this ritual was about exactly, but my wild guess is that it was probably some kind of positive family ritual meant to maybe: restore / renew / heal and / or protect and / or bless et cetera a family / members of a family or something like that; but that is all that I can remember of this part of the dream.
The last part of the dream took place on a Saturday and my mom wanted us to all go somewhere and do something, to take a trip basically, and I think that she wanted to go somewhere in Louisiana to go to a state park-like place outside & then maybe go watch a movie or something; but that is all that I can remember of this dream.
Dream 2
This dream possibly had something to do with defense and / or the military, but that is all that I can remember of this dream.
