The First Season of Jessica Jones premiered on November 20, 2015, on Netflix.

Ever since her short-lived stint as a Super Hero ended in tragedy, Jessica Jones has been rebuilding her personal life and career as a hot-tempered, sardonic, badass private detective in Hell’s Kitchen, New York City.

Plagued by self-loathing, and a wicked case of PTSD, Jessica battles demons from within and without, using her extraordinary abilities as an unlikely champion for those in need… especially if they’re willing to cut her a check.

Jessica Jones – Season 1 Review

My Thoughts

I knew nothing about Jessica Jones before watching this show several years ago back when it came out, and I had never heard of her before.

To my surprise, this show was my favorite of the Netflix Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) TV shows, and I think that it is a shame that this show & the character Jessica Jones & the actress Krysten Ritter got overlooked mostly.

There are even professional reviewers I follow on YouTube who did not even bother to watch or review or maybe even react to this show.

Yet they have seen, reacted to and reviewed most of the other Netflix MCU shows, even the bad ones like Iron Fist.

This season was my favorite season of this show, Krysten Ritter did a good job, though her character did not grow much through the series, unfortunately.

I think that Jessica Jones & Luke Cage were a good team.

I hope to see the character Jessica Jones & the actress Krysten Ritter in more TV shows & movies et cetera in the future

The end,
