My Thoughts
This show had atmosphere & a unique location & lots of potential, I even like the cover art, but the writing is so bad & choppy & incomplete & I did not like the flat voice acting of the main character Alexandra Trese.
I wanted to like this show, but my brother GC & I were disappointed.
This show has so much lore that is not explained at all, we had no idea where things were taking place, what people/ creatures / entities were, what were their abilities, what were the factions, what was their jobs, and many other basic details were not explained or set up at all.
The show just throws you into this world without any real setup & it does not bother to explain much, things happen, and you just have to try to make some sense of it.
This show can be saved if they get someone else to write the next season & set up the lore so that the audience can follow along & make sense of it.
