What Is It?
The 2021 Japanese anime (animated) TV show Fena: Pirate Princess (Season 1).
Fena Houtman, a young orphan girl, has been raised on an island where there is no hope of becoming anything more than chattel, to be used and discarded by soldiers of the British Empire. But Fena is more than just another powerless orphan. When her mysterious past comes knocking, Fena will break the chains of her oppressors. Her goal: forge a new identity, free of bondage, and search for a place where she can truly belong and find out the true mysteries behind a keyword “Eden.”
My Thoughts
This show had good animation, except for some of the main characters sometimes, unfortunately this show was not as good as its animation; and my brother GC & I both felt that this show did not deserve animation that was this good.
This show did not do enough to justify the effort that it must have taken to make it, the mostly good animation would have been better spent on a better anime, in my opinion.
This show was not terrible, there was some good action at times, there was some uniqueness to it, but it was just average; and barely did enough to have us keep watching it, and things became confusing & random & illogical at the end.
