My Thoughts
I actually looked forward to this season of The Witcher after my brother GC & I watched season 1 in 2020.
Season one had flaws, like the time jumping, but we still liked it enough.
Unfortunately, we did not like season 2, this season was: slow, boring, confusing, lacking in detail, and not that much happened.
We saw the first season & I once played a little of The Witcher 2: Assassins Of Kings video game, but we were both confused & lost for most of this season as it jumped around between places & people without explaining: where, when, how, who, et cetera.
We had no idea what all the kingdoms were, which kingdoms were enemies & allies & why, why elves are treated the way that they are, where do the dwarves live, what were the names of some of the monsters & what were their strengths & weaknesses & lore, and much much more unexplained things.
Maybe this season was meant for people who read the books & finished the video games, it wasted our time, but there were some good things about it like: some of the visuals, some of the fights, the magic, et cetera.
After this season, we do not look forward to the upcoming season 3 or the prequel miniseries, my brother GC probably does not want to watch them when they come out; but we will see if we decide to watch them or not.
I would rate this season a 2 out of 5.
