WordPress.com News had a post called, Say Hello To WordPrompts!, where they announced that WordPress.com finally has an official blogging challenge again, a monthly blogging prompt challenge called WordPrompts.

This month’s (April 2022) WordPrompt is the word Green.

My Thoughts

My response to this month’s WordPrompt for the word Green is a sentence by Noam Chomsky from his 1957 book Syntactic Structures:

Colorless green ideas sleep furiously

SYN_1957 – Syntactic Structures (N. Chomsky)

I first learned of this sentence back in college in either Sociology and / or Anthropology.

This was the first thing that came to my mind when I read this month’s WordPrompt.

I am glad that they finally have an official blogging prompt challenge again after The Daily Post blog stopped doing them a couple of years ago.
