Here is how The IMDb describes this movie:

In rural 19th-century France, a mysterious, possibly supernatural menace threatens a small village. John McBride, a pathologist, comes to town to investigate the danger – and exorcise some of his own demons in the process.

In the late nineteenth century, brutal land baron Seamus Laurent slaughters a Roma clan, unleashing a curse on his family and village. In the days that follow, the townspeople are plagued by nightmares, Seamus’s son Edward goes missing, and a boy is found murdered. The locals suspect a wild animal, but visiting pathologist John McBride warns of a more sinister presence lurking in the woods.

The Cursed – Movie Review

My Thoughts

This movie was better film, directed, acted, and written than you would expect.

This movie also had a unique twist on its approach to werewolves.

This movie had some surprisingly realistic gore and blood, and was the bloodiest & most gory movie that I have seen in a long time.

The downside of this movie is that it was longer & slower paced than it should have been, so some will find it boring & it will put some people to sleep.

The movie had a bad habit of time jumps, not showing what happened, which hurt the movie.

This is a high quality werewolf movie, it would be better if they were to release a shorter & faster paced version of it, it is probably among the best werewolf movies that I have seen.

Another downside is that Kelly Reilly did not have a larger enough role or enough lines in my opinion, it was good to see her in a movie again though.

The end,
