My Thoughts

While this song is not as good as the song Secret Ceremony, in my opinion, but I guess it does fit some themes of Ghost In The Shell: SAC_2045 (Season 1).

I do not think that the opening visuals work that well with this song, though:

They probably should have used a montage of scenes from the show that fit, basically the end of the trailer for that season did it better than the opening credits visuals:
