Wow! I did not know this, sadly.
Another thing that they did not teach us in school / college, sadly.
Thank you Extra Credits for teaching me some history that I should have been taught already.
And there are people past, present, and future who sadly continue fighting to stop us from learning about our real history.
More people need to know about things like this.
More people need to know our real history, our real present, and hopefully we will work toward a better future; if they win, humanity loses, in more ways than one.
And more people need to listen to Strange Fruit by Billie Holiday like I did for the first time, thanks to this video, it brought tears to my eyes:
