What Is It?

The YouTube video Tracer Son Chemin Artistique | Pauline Croze | TEDxRennes by the YouTube channel TEDx Talks:

Tracer Son Chemin Artistique | Pauline Croze | TEDxRennes

Here is the description for this video:

Pauline Croze takes the public on a journey, a journey around the world, a journey between different artistic trends.

During her talk, she describes her artistic career, punctuated by different influences, different desires and choices she had to make.

How to keep your identity as an artist, to maintain the trust of your audience, while assuming choices, sometimes unexpected?

Author, composer and performer, Pauline Croze was revealed in 2003 at the Transmusicales de Rennes.

In 2004, she recorded her self-titled debut album, which met with great public and critical success.

Four opuses will follow, including the highly acclaimed Bossanova, with which she takes up the standards of Brazilian music.

Her veiled timbre, the precision of her words, the sweetness of her melodies make her a complete artist and have allowed her to collaborate with many artists such as Miossec, Arthur H or Cali.

His new album was released on October 8, 2021.

As an echo of the theme of TEDxRennes, the one she chose to name “After the gray hours” embarks us in a wide palette of colors.

This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community.

My Thoughts

I am glad that this was recommended to me by YouTube.

I learned that I was correct about Pauline Croze’s second music album Un Bruit Qui Court being more experimental with a focus on the instrumentals & sounds & trying different music instruments.

Furthermore, I am glad that YouTube’s automatic language translation on the captions worked pretty well, so I was able to understand most of what was being said.

I do hope that she will one day try to create another classic French music album like her first music album, Pauline Croze, which is still my favorite music album.

The end,
