About Me

Hello, I am John Jr, welcome to my WordPress.com blog of dreams & miscellaneous posts.

About My Blog

I started this blog back in the year 2007 on Windows Live Spaces as a place where I could share things from my personal life with people I know, but that idea failed.

So instead, I started using this blog mostly as a dream journal with miscellaneous real life posts.

Then I moved my blog to WordPress.com when Windows Live Spaces got discontinued by Microsoft.

You are welcome to comment, share, like, reblog, and subscribe to my blog & posts & pages; it is all free & you can comment without an account.

Thank you for visiting my blog, feel free to leave a public comment in the comment form at the bottom of this page, and have a great day.

Your About page is really helpful. 🙂

I was wondering what your thoughts are on having to manage 2 different blogs? I’m sure you noticed I had https://imawarriorprincess.wordpress.com/ and https://missfortitude.wordpress.com/

I’m thinking of just merging them into one, although I already have some followers and comments on each. I initially thought it would be good to separate a blog with my dream journal and literary pieces and another with more personal ideas.

But as I grow into this community, I’m starting to feel it would be better to have a distinct identity on my blog (to avoid any confusion and have the followers and comments in one place instead of 2 different sites)

What do you think?

Hello Missfortitude,

Thank you for the compliment, and if you have any suggestions for my About page and/or blog please do let me know. 🙂

Yeah, I noticed that when I clicked an link in your menu under your About page, thank you for asking for my opinion on this.

I have met other bloggers in the past who have also struggled with this, I usually recommend managing just one blog which is usually easier on the author(s) and readers, but I do let them know that everyone is different so several blogs may be better for some people; but in my opinion one blog is usually enough for most bloggers (more than 50%), but I am not familiar enough with your blogs or goals for them to make a more detailed suggestion than that though.

I hope that helps, and thank you for commenting.

I am impressed that you can remember your dreams so easily. Good blogging tips by the way. I’ll keep them in mind. Had no idea that using too many tags affects a post’s visibility.

Hello The Otaku Judge,

Thank you, to try to increase my dream recall levels again closer to like they were when I was younger I started blogging my dreams every day, and that really helped to train my mind to try to remember part of them automatically on its own since I do it every day now for several years in a row.

Thanks, I hope they will help you, and I learned about the tag / category limit from a WordPress.com staff member’s post on one of the official WordPress.com blogs called The Daily Post:
