Ridley Scott returns to the universe he created, with ALIEN: COVENANT, a new chapter in his groundbreaking ALIEN franchise.
The crew of the colony ship Covenant, bound for a remote planet on the far side of the galaxy, discovers what they think is an uncharted paradise, but is actually a dark, dangerous world.
When they uncover a threat beyond their imagination, they must attempt a harrowing escape.
Final Thoughts
This movie was not as bad as my brother GC and I thought that it would be based on some of the reviews that we saw and read about it.
We possibly liked it slightly better than the movie Prometheus, but we are not sure because it has been a while since we saw that movie.
I do know that I like how in the movie Prometheus it felt like they were really on another planet more than it did in this movie, and I liked a few of the characters better in Prometheus.
I think that this movie could have explained some more things and / or been a bit shorter because it dragged a bit in two parts of the movie, but I do respect them for being bold enough to end the film in the way that they did.
Like the film Prometheus, this prologue has good visuals, and I hope that the Alien: Covenant film will be better than Prometheus because Prometheus looked good but it was a disappointing film.
I hope that the Alien: Covenant movie will continue where this prologue left off because I am curious to see what happens.
