Following its release, the show has received critical acclaim from critics, with praise for each episode animation style, creativity, diverse storylines, and themes.[10] As a result, the show has managed to win several accolades from the Primetime Creative Arts Emmy Awards.[11] The continuation of at least two stories from the first season was confirmed, with “Three Robots” getting its sequel in the third season.[12]

The animated series consists of stand-alone episodes, all under 22 minutes long, and produced by different casts and crews, though some episodes may share certain crew members.
