I dreamed that I went to sleep in a fictional version of my bedroom, and I sensed a presence in the room, maybe during sleep paralysis inside this dream within a dream.
The presence seemed negative and / or it felt scary, like during most sleep paralysis experiences, and perhaps I could somewhat feel my body waking up in the real world.
This dream took place at a fictional version of The BP Library, I was there working while wearing my face masks as were some of my coworkers (so the COVID-19 pandemic was still going on I assume), at some point I wanted to talk to my female coworker JB, who did not seem to have noticed me yet, I did not know what to talk about & I did not think that she really wanted to talk to me anyway, and so I somewhat sadly resisted the urge to talk to her; and I continued my work.
At some point, my coworker Mr. CF stopped to talk to some contractors who were doing work inside the building, my former male classmate BF was one of the contractors, he was on a ladder or stool working while wearing a face mask, and I joined their conversation.
I had several dreams last night that I remembered but I got awakened from my first dream by my brothers KD and TD talking loudly on the phone with our dad about their search for a new automobile, this disturbed my sleep and dreams causing me to quickly forget my dream or dreams, and eventually I went back to sleep.
I had one or more dreams but when I woke up to organize them in my mind I forgot the first dream or most of the dream while trying to remember part of an earlier dream, and so now I can only barely remember part of an earlier dream from last night.
All that I can remember of the dream is that some of the dream involved Ghost In The Shell related things and some of the dream involved my brothers KD and TD complaining about their search for a new automobile, like they were in the real world, and I remember being inside a building or house looking out the window at a parking lot and/or parking garage with several strange futuristic vehicles like something from a Ghost In The Shell film or television series.
One looked like it could hold more than one person and it somewhat reminded me of a Tachikoma, I wondered why my brothers KD and TD were not considering using it, and I remember trying to see if I could control it remotely like a puppet.
I stayed where I was inside the building but somehow I projected my consciousness or ghost from my body to the vehicle (I am not sure if I used a machine or if I just used my mind), I was able to control the vehicle this way, I knew that my body was still in the building and I could probably sense how far away from it I was so it was almost like being in two places at once because there was somewhat of a connection with my body.
I was not sure how far away I could move away from my body or for how long so to avoid any risks I drove the vehicle close to the building and not for very long, and eventually I returned my consciousness or ghost to my body.
I was not sure if that vehicle was street legal or not because it seemed to be more military-like than civilian, I thought about various things and did various things that I can not remember, and I tried controlling that vehicle remotely several times but that is all that I can remember of this dream.
I had this interesting experience/dream last year, and it is probably the closest thing/experience that I ever had to astral projection or an out-of-body experience, and it is an example of how I sometimes dream about what I am hearing in the real world as I sleep. 🙂
The beginning is unclear and I am not sure if I was dreaming or if I had just woken up, I just remember laying in bed in my dark bedroom and I started feeling myself float from my body but my body seemed to probably still be in bed.
Last night I had a dream that I was in a apartment-like place with two beds in a room that looked like a large living room mixed with an area at college where students can relax & study.
My brother GC was there about to get in bed to sleep, and I was about to get in another bed across the room & sleep as well.
I laid down and I quickly went to sleep in the dream & I started dreaming in the dream, and somehow I realized that I was dreaming in the dream.
I did not get that strong feeling of my body being in bed, like I usually do when I first realize that I am dreaming, and so I decided to take control of the dream.
At this point I was having a lucid dream in a dream so I jumped into the air and I went through the roof of the building like a ghost, and I then started to fly in the air.
Then I jumped back into the room and I went through the floor of the room like a ghost again, and that led to an ocean or some body of water.
I then decided to form a room under the water, and in this newly formed room there was a pillow.
I forgot to mention that the room looked like a bedroom that was dimly lit.
I decided to turn the pillow into a woman, and it slowly started to become a woman; it was a bit like making a painting or something.
I felt the pillow start to become like skin and it started to look like the shape of a woman, and I tried to focus so that the process would continue.
I could not see her face because her back was facing me but I did see that she had brown shoulder length hair and she had whitish colored skin, but as she was still forming I woke up out of the lucid dream; and I was back in the other dream/dream world because my brother GC was leaving the bathroom in the other dream/dream world, and that woke me up into the other dream/world.
I woke up into the other dream feeling excited and disappointed that the lucid dream ended, and I felt like I needed to use the bathroom; and so I went to the bathroom. (Oddly I woke up with an erection in the non-lucid dream, that is strange. 😀 )
I tried to use the bathroom but I was having a hard time due to the erection. 😀
I then woke up again, but this time I was in the real world (with no erection, thank goodness 😀 ); and I had awakened because my brother GC was vomiting.
I think that I was able to have that lucid dream within the dream, because I had awakened about half way through my normal sleep cycle and I stayed up for a while; and then I went back to sleep.
I think doing that can increase your chance(s) of having a lucid dream(s) up to 300% according to some research I read, I think.
