A Young Man Steals Something From My Parents Yard | Talking With My Former Classmate KW | A Fake Wikipedia Browser Extension

Dream 1

This dream took place during the day, I was at my parents house when I noticed a young man stealing something from my parents yard on the side of the yard that the dogs are on near Jack (my brother TDC’s dog), and then he ran and jumped the fence to escape through the field.

Somehow the dogs did not notice him, I ran outside but he had escaped, I paused trying to decide whether to run after him or not.

I did not know what he stole or why or who he was, but I woke up.

Dream 2

This dream took place inside a house, I was there with one or more people, and my former male classmate KW showed up.

We talked about computer stuff, software, and maybe things about our lives in the years since we graduated from high school.

At some point KW left thinking that we had abandoned him or something, so he was probably hurt and angry, we felt bad about this misunderstanding so we called him.

But that is all that I can remember of this dream.

Dream 3

I am not sure where this dream took place, you would think that it was The BP Library but it possibly was not, if it was then I was possibly not working and was just there as a patron; but I can not remember where I was or if I was working or not for sure.

All that I can remember is that I was sitting down at a computer with a woman helping her with a web browser situation.

I noticed that she had a browser extension installed that was supposedly a Wikipedia browser extension, it looked fake to me, and so I went to the web browser’s add-on website to look up some information on this so-called Wikipedia browser extension.

The browser extension was a fake so I uninstalled it, and I decided to install a content blocker / ad blocker to help block ads and help protect her from accidentally installing fake extensions like this so I installed Ublock Origin (which is my current favorite free open source content blocker / ad blocker) for her.

I also considered installing the Malwarebytes Browser Extension, I probably did install it, and then I tried to decide if I should leave it installed or not.

While I tried to decide this I explained to her what these browser extensions were and how they can help, and I explained how that so-called Wikipedia browser extension was a fake et cetera; but I woke up.

UBlock Origin (uBlock Origin)

What is it?

The free open source cross-platform wide-spectrum blocker / ad blocker browser extension UBlock Origin (uBlock Origin) by Raymond Hill (Gorhill).

Here is how Wikipedia describes this browser extension:

uBlock Origin (pronounced you-block /ˈjuːˌblɒk/) is a free and open source, cross-platform browser extension for content-filtering, including ad-blocking.

The extension is available for several browsers: Safari, Chrome, Chromium, Edge, Firefox, and Opera.[7]

uBlock Origin has received praise from technology websites, and is reported to be much less memory-intensive than other extensions[8][9] with similar functionality.[10][11]

uBlock Origin’s stated purpose is to give users the means to enforce their own (content-filtering) choices.[12][13]

As of 2017, uBlock Origin continues to be actively developed and maintained by founder and lead developer Raymond Hill.[14]

Here are the links where you can get uBlock Origin for several different browsers:

uBlock Origin for Google Chrome

uBlock Origin for Chromium

uBlock Origin for Mozilla Firefox

uBlock Origin for Microsoft Edge

uBlock Origin for Safari

uBlock Origin for Opera

Final Thoughts

I think that this is currently the best wide-spectrum blocker / ad blocking browser extension, and so I definitely recommend giving it a try.

It is lightweight, the default lists are good enough for most people, it is free and open source, it is available for several different internet browsers, it can block some pop-up ads, and the default settings are good enough for most people so you can just install this browser extension and you are good to go.

You might be surprised by how much better it is browsing the internet when you have a browser extension like this installed.

I hope that more people will help with the development of this browser extension so that it can live on if Raymond Hill (Gorhill) ever stops developing it.

Thank you Raymond Hill (Gorhill) for making and maintaining this browser extension, and I hope that others will learn from you and that they will improve their browser extensions as well.

Dreaming About Avira Free Antivirus And Panda Free Antivirus And The Electronic Frontier Foundation’s (EFF) Privacy Badger

I had several dreams that I remembered each time that I woke up to use the bathroom but I did not voice record them and I overslept, and so I forgot all of my dreams from last night except for part of my last dream.

My last dream seemed to be inspired by me reading about/comparing free anti-malware sofware, free antiviruses, free browser extensions, Galm’s gameplay of the video game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, and several other things from yesterday.

I think that at least one part of the dream took place inside E Manor on the first and second floor but that is all that I can remember of this part of the dream, and a second part of the dream possibly involved me playing a video game and/or being in a video game and/or the dream being like a video game like the video game The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim; but that is all that I can remember of this part of the dream.

The rest of the dream was about me reading about, comparing, testing, trying, et cetera various programs and browser extensions like Avira Free Antivirus, Avira Browser Safety, Panda Free Antivirus, Panda Web Filter, The Electronic Frontier Foundation‘s (EFF) Privacy Badger browser extension which is currently being beta tested, maybe Emsisoft Anti-Malware Free, maybe Malwarebytes Anti-Malware Free, maybe Hitman Pro Free, maybe Adblock Plus, maybe Web Of Trust (WOT), maybe OpenDNS, maybe Avast Free Antivirus, maybe Microsoft Security Essentials, maybe AVG Free Antivirus, et cetera.

My goal was to try to find a better combination of free programs to help protect the computers/et cetera that I manage and work on sometimes because I like to make sure that I am using a good combination/balance of programs that are easy to use and effective especially for inexperienced users (pretty much everyone who comes to me for help with their computers), and so I am trying to find a new free antivirus and several other programs that I can start recommending to people again because it is time for a change because of new/popular threats/annoyances like PUPs (potentially unwanted programs) and changes made by some of the companies that I used to recommend et cetera.

There was more to this dream and more that I dreamed about last night, but that is all that I can remember now.

Getting Attacked & Reporting Unblocked Ads To Adblock Plus

I forgot all my dreams from last night except for barely part of my last dream that started in a fictional place during late in the afternoon and until night, and several times during the dream I went to a fictional one-story building in a field near a quiet neighborhood.

The building was narrow a bit narrow but long horizontally or it was longer horizontally than from front to back, I think that different parts of this building were used for several different things, and I think that one part of the building on the right side was possibly the BP School Board Shop; and another part of the building on the left side was possibly a place where people could hang out like a restaurant/club/recreation center/and/or something like that.
