This is how Crunchyroll describes this anime television show:
“I’m not saving the world. I just kill goblins.”
Rumor has it that, in a certain guild in the middle of nowhere, there is an extraordinary man who has climbed all the way to the Silver rank just by killing goblins.
At the same guild, a priestess who’s just become a new adventurer has formed her first party… and the man who ends up rescuing that party when they get into trouble is none other than the Goblin Slayer.
I probably would have not really heard of this anime if it were not for all the controversy that it caused with its first episode, thanks to the YouTube channel Gigguk I learned about this anime from the YouTube video above this called Goblin Slayer: The Worst Anime Ever Made, and I decided to watch the first two or three episodes to see what all the fuss was about.
The first episode was not as bad as I had thought, the rape scene was quick, the episode went from positive to negative real quick and it was shocking but to me it mostly worked and it fit the story but I can understand why it bothered some people so much because a few things could have been done differently and things like rape are shocking and terrible.
What surprised me is that this anime show did not continue in this way that much for the rest of the series, the first episode is mostly different from the rest of the episodes, which is a good thing and a bad thing.
This anime is not bad, though several episodes near the end were a waste of time, but I am curious to see where this show goes next.
When innocent civilians begin committing unthinkable crimes across Metropolis, Gotham City and beyond, Batman must call upon mystical counterparts to eradicate this demonic threat to the planet.
Enter Justice League Dark, reluctantly led by the Hellblazer himself, John Constantine.
Like Batman, Constantine is a cunning, often cynical loner who is the best at his chosen profession – but quickly realizes the sinister forces plaguing the planet will require help from other supernatural alliances.
Forming a new “league” with sorceress Zatanna, otherworldly Deadman, and Jason Blood and his powerful alter ego Etrigan the Demon, this team of Dark Arts specialists must unravel the mystery of Earth’s supernatural plague and contend with the rising, powerful villainous forces behind the siege – before it’s too late for all of mankind.
What do I like about it and what would other people like about it?
I like that some less often seen superheroes and supervillains were the main characters (except for Batman who should not have been there), that magic and the paranormal and the supernatural were the main focus, and I think that other people will like that as well.
This animated movie was okay, but a few of the characters had annoying voices and Batman should not have been there.
