Day Three: Visit the Neighbors
Time to engage with the blogging community, the first (and most important!) step in developing an audience.
Today, explore five new tags in the Reader and follow five new blogs.
Here’s how:
- First, head to WordPress.com Reader by clicking on the button below.
- Next, click Add next to Tags in the left column, type a word or two, and press Enter to see posts published with that tag and to add the tag to your Reader.
- Finally, click Follow in the upper-right corner of any post you find interesting to follow the blog where it was published.
Having trouble following blogs or thinking of interesting tags to browse?Reading others’ blogs gets you engaged in the community, inspires you, and helps grow your audience.
