A Secret Entrance Into An Amusement Park

This dream seemed to take place during the COVID-19 pandemic (because I was wearing my cloth face mask) in maybe a fictional version of the Walmart parking lot in the city of D except there was a small Disneyland-like amusement park on the left side closer to the road, and to the right of there was a hangout area outside where people would hangout & try to sell things to people coming and going.

Some of my former male schoolmates with dark-light-to-light-medium color skin and maybe one or two of my former classmates were among the people often hanging out in the hangout area, and some of them would try to sell things to people.

An Investigation | Officer Points-A-Lot

Dream 1

This was a longer more detailed dream, but I only remember some of the end of the dream now.

Part of this dream was probably inspired by me watching some Mass Effect 3 let’s play videos from a playlist called Mr. Odd Plays Mass Effect 3 [BLIND] last night.

What Is It About?

This is how Wikipedia describes this painting:

Nighthawks is a 1942 oil on canvas painting by Edward Hopper that portrays people in a downtown diner late at night as viewed through the diner’s large glass window.

Also portrayed are the exteriors of the urban structures across the street from the diner.

It has been described as Hopper’s best-known work [1] and is one of the most recognizable paintings in American art.[2][3]

Within months of its completion, it was sold to the Art Institute of Chicago on May 13, 1942, for $3,000.[4]

It has been suggested that Hopper was inspired by a short story of Ernest Hemingway’s, either “The Killers”, which Hopper greatly admired, [5] or from the more philosophical “A Clean, Well-Lighted Place”.[6]

In keeping with the title of his painting, Hopper later said, Nighthawks has more to do with the possibility of predators in the night than with loneliness.[7]

Getting Chosen To Be In A Steve Buscemi Movie?

Dream 1

Part of this dream possibly took place at a diner and something was not working, but that is all that I can remember of this dream.

Dream 2

All that I can remember of this dream is that maybe I got a telephone call or something telling me that I was chosen to be in a movie that was going to be directed by the actor Steve Buscemi; and that they wanted me to go to a certain location at a certain time.

I have no acting experience or acting skill and I had not auditioned et cetera so this was a surprise and confusing, but I agreed to go check it out at least.

I remember going to a certain indoor and outdoor location during the day when it was late in the afternoon and grayer and darker or it was early evening, and I guess some of the filming for the movie was going to take place here.

All the potential cast and crew were there, some people possibly had to do an audition while we were there, some people simply met the director et cetera and were either chosen or rejected, and some of us were already chosen and got to meet Mr. Buscemi et cetera to see if we would accept the role.

There was a cafeteria set up so we all got to eat and drink, even those who got rejected, I remember waiting in line and talking with people et cetera.

I saw that some preparation for filming were being started, it was very early stages, but from the clues it seemed that part of the movie was possibly going to involve the military and soldiers in basic training and/or some sports and other physical activities.

At some point I got to meet Mr. Buscemi, he told me that I did not have to worry about auditioning or anything because he had chosen me himself, and he said that he had somehow checked me out and felt that I would be a good fit for the role/character that he had in mind.

I told him that I had no acting experience or acting skill and that this is probably not something that I would be good at or even able to handle, he told me not to worry and that he felt that I would be a good fit, and I agreed to at least give it a try.

He did not tell me much about my role or who my character would be or what the movie was about, he told me that the studio was worried about leaks, and so they were keeping things secret.

Mr. Buscemi told that this movie project was a personal project of his that he has been working on for months and maybe years, that he felt good about it, and that he looked forward to finally bringing it to life.

I thanked him for the opportunity and that I hoped that I would not let him down, and then I walked away so that he could meet the next person.

I still could not believe that this was happening and I was still confused by how Mr. Buscemi had chosen me because I do not have any video or audio of myself online for him to see, and so I wondered if he had just saw and heard me somewhere and felt that I was a natural fit for a certain role/character.

This was one of those opportunities that you do not pass up no matter if you are shy and have social anxiety et cetera, I had no idea how much money I would make and I did not really care, this was my chance to see what it is like behind the scenes of a movie and to be part of it.

I imagined that it would be interesting to see myself in the movie credits and in the movie itself if they kept any of my scenes, and I wondered what my coworkers et cetera would think.

But that is all that I can remember of this dream.

The end,

But Can You Beat Me In Fighting?

All that I can remember of this dream is that it involved either a female alien or a female humanoid entity or a strange woman.

At some point the female alien/entity or woman met a man who looked like or was a younger version (maybe him from the 1970s) of John Travolta, and at some point they were in maybe a 1950s style diner (with maybe some modern updates) talking.

The John Travolta-like man was the lady’s man type, and was flirting a bit maybe and/or was just pretty confident and cool.

I was in the dream at this point, and somehow she learned about (someone one told her about it) a quote/saying/motto/slogan/quip/phrase that maybe my former male classmate AJ (who died recently) used to say sometimes in response to people in certain situations which was:

But can you beat me in fighting?

He and/or another one of my former male classmates liked to use that phrase to win an argument if all else fails. 😀

The alien or woman and the John Travolta-like man were still talking as I listened and did whatever I was doing there, but that is all that I can remember of this dream.

The end,
