Dream 1

This dream took place during the day, I was on a sea or ocean with some other people exploring, I am not sure if I was myself at this point in the dream or not, but I do know that I was briefly not myself shortly after this.

We passed by an area where the military was doing experiments with some old aircraft & ships & maybe some jet ski-like things that were possibly being driven by stunt drivers wearing tactical wetsuits, and they drove & flew past us.

A Fictional Ellen Page’s Childhood Memories Of Castile?

I did not wear my square orgone pendant last night after deciding to try Moment’s idea of not wearing a pendant for a while to see how things compare to wearing one, and so I wanted to make a note of this so that we will know the day that I stopped wearing it.

I had more dreams but unfortunately I forgot all of them except for part of my last dream that was probably inspired by a news article by ET (Entertainment Tonight) that I read yesterday called: Dakota Fanning Pays Tribute To Co-Star Brittany Murphy 8 Years After Her Sudden Death.

Inception

Source: IMDb

I just sent my first Staff Pick for my shelver job at The BP Library, I hope to do some more Staff Picks in the future and I hope to start sharing more things like this in the future here on my blog, normally I would like to do a longer write-up but you have to keep these shorter which is probably a good thing because it will save me time and help me get to the point. 😀

What is it?

The 2010 science fiction action adventure fantasy thriller movie Inception by the director Christopher Nolan, and starring: Leonardo DiCaprio, Ken Watanabe, Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Marion Cotillard, Ellen Page, and Tom Hardy.

What is it about?

The film Inception is about a man named Dom Cobb (played by the actor Leonardo DiCaprio) who forms a team to complete a job that he was hired for, where they have to enter several layers of dreams using a device that allows dream sharing, so that they can plant an idea in their target’s subconscious that will affect the target’s life once the target wakes up in the real world.

This is how Warner Bros. describes this movie:

Nominated for eight Academy Awards, including “Best Picture,” and winner of four, Inception—directed by acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan—features an international cast in an original sci-fi actioner that travels around the globe and into the intimate and infinite world of dreams.

Dom Cobb (Leonardo DiCaprio) is a skilled thief, the absolute best in the dangerous art of extraction, stealing valuable secrets from deep within the subconscious, during the dream state when the mind is at its most vulnerable.

Cobb’s rare ability has made him a coveted player in this treacherous new world of corporate espionage, but it has also made him an international fugitive and cost him everything he has ever loved.

Now Cobb is being offered a chance at redemption.

One last job could give him his life back but only if he can accomplish the impossible: inception.

Instead of the perfect heist, Cobb and his team of specialists have to pull off the reverse: their task is not to steal an idea but to plant one.

If they succed, it could be the perfect crime.

But no amount of careful planning or expertise can prepare the team for the dangerous enemy that seems to predict their every move.

An enemy that only Cobb could have seen coming.

What do I like about it?

I like the movie Inception because I am a fan of dreams / dreaming and even though dreams were not the main focus of the film it was still nice watching a well-made film that involved dreams, it has a great music by Hans Zimmer, the acting, the directing, the cinematography, the story, the concept, the action, the complexity, the costumes, the variety, and more.

Why would someone else like it?

I think that people will like the film Inception because not only is it one of the BBC’s 100 Greatest Films Of The 21st Century, it is an overall good film with a bit of something for everyone, that takes the viewer on an adventure that gives the viewer an example of some of the things that are possible in dreams and how dreams and the real world can interact and affect each other; and so I recommend watching this film, but make sure that you watch this film when you are not tired and when you are ready to think because it can get a bit confusing at times.

Final Thoughts

Inception is currently one of my favorite movies of all-time and possibly my favorite movie since 2010, and I saw this movie twice in theaters and several times at home.

The first time that I watched this movie I was amazed during it by the music and visuals and story et cetera, it was a true movie experience, and when I watched it the second time I was amazed that I still liked it and possibly liked it equally or more than the first time which is rare.

The opening scenes are great, especially the scene when Mal Cobb is first shown, that scene reminded me of Casablanca or some older movie like that with the costumes and music and the mood and the other visuals and dialogue and acting in that scene.

I think that everyone should watch this movie at least once.

The end,
