Last night I had several dream fragments but I forgot most of them, one of them took place in a slightly fictional version of D that is sometimes in my dreams during the afternoon, and I was in a fictional neighborhood near the Library.
My former classmate RM saw me walking around and he stopped to talk to me, and at some point he invited me over to his / parent’s house to my surprise; where he, his parents, and his grandmother lived.
I remember meeting each of them and talking, I can not remember the rest of the dream, but I know that there was more.
The next dream fragment that I remember took place out-of-town and I think that I was with RM & his family again, and we were out having a lot of fun; and we had also gotten a hotel room(s).
At some point we went to Walmart very late at night or early the next morning to buy some stuff, we were in a good mood where we wanted to enjoy ourselves so we were not ready to go to sleep, and we were trying to have as much fun as we could before having to leave the next day or when ever.
I probably wanted to buy some desserts, even though we probably had already eaten/ate, and we probably went around town having fun at various places & we probably had watched a film already.
I remember waiting in line with RM’s mom & grandmother, and his grandmother was telling me stories about her past/present involving relationships/lack of relationships/party memories/et cetera; she reminded me of the grandmother (Margaret Barrish played by the actress Ellen Burstyn) on the new TV show Political Animals.
She was very open/honest/direct, which was nice, and I listened to her many memories/stories as we waited in line.
At some point I remember walking away from the cash register to leave Walmart when I noticed a classroom on the right side of the store, and I went to see what was going on.
A college Biology / Science class was about take place and I sat down with the rest of the class, and our teacher was a woman with whitish colored skin with blond colored hair.
She talked about genetic / biological traits / DNA / et cetera but she did it in an unscientific / stupid / annoying / illogical / Race-based way that annoyed me so much that I could barely stop myself from challenging the teacher’s logic.
She kept talking about White this and Black that, Race this, Race that, and it made no sense; and the class joined in, but even they got confused by all the illogic/flawed logic.
I was ready to challenge the teacher’s logic by pointing out that first we are Humans without the extra Races as far as we know scientifically at this time, second genes are genes & there is no White genes or Black genes or whatever Race genes so a gene for hair color is just a gene for hair color/et cetera & nothing more, et cetera.
I was waiting for the teacher and the class to finish talking & confusing themselves before I present the current scientific facts/common sense, it was hard waiting, and sad watching these people talking nonsense & confusing themselves over something so simple.
The class was confused, the teacher was confused, and a moment for me to talk was about to happen as the teacher was trying to un-confuse herself & the class; but I woke up.
