Daily Prompt

The Daily Post had a Daily Prompt today called Take Care, and the questions were:

When you’re unwell, do you allow others to take care of you, or do you prefer to soldier on alone?

What does it take for you to ask for help?

And these are my answers to today’s Daily Prompt:

Usually I prefer to soldier on alone.

Here a few things that it usually takes for me to ask for help:

The problem has to be serious enough which it usually is not and/or getting help has to be affordable enough or free which it usually is not and/or help has to actually be available because it is often not available and/or I need to actually qualify for help which I usually do not and/or the help actually needs to be helpful which it usually is not and/or I need to be comfortable with getting help which I am usually not and/or I need to be comfortable with the people who can give help which I am usually not and/or I actually need help which I usually do not.

Dream 1

I got awakened during the night after someone annoyingly and unnecessarily turned on several heaters making the house too hot suddenly which disturbed my sleep and my dreams causing me to forget all of my dreams and to not be able to sleep, and so it took me a while to be able to go back to sleep so I walked around and did a free Duolingo French lesson on my mobile phone before finally being able to go back to sleep; and so now I can only barely remember part of two dreams which do not make sense now because I can not remember most of either dream to properly make sense of them, but I will type what I remember anyway.

All that I can remember of this dream is that it probably took place during the day at my parent’s house, I remember some of the pet cats and kittens being in the dream and maybe I got to pet some of them, and I remember seeing Dawn’s kittens like Pipa and Dawna and maybe Cu-Dale in the dream; but that is all that I can remember of this dream.

Dream 2

My memory of this dream is mostly destroyed and so it does not make much sense and so expect confusion and errors and this dream probably involved: jumping between two different planets, alien dinosaurs and alien creatures and alien non-human animals, Power Rangers, time travel, and was possibly somewhat video game-like sometimes.

All that I can remember of this unclear and confusing dream is being on what I assume was planet Earth inside maybe a house during maybe the day, and there were some other people there including maybe my dad and the actor Jason David Frank as himself and as his character Tommy Oliver (The Green Ranger).

I remember there being several monitors/screens and some other equipment in a room, Mr. Frank/Mr. Oliver and some of the others were going to go to another planet and possibly time travel using the equipment, and I assume that they had somewhat trained and prepared for this.

I remember us watching old video footage of Mr. Frank behind the scenes as his character Tommy Oliver during the filming of Power Rangers, Mr. Frank had no shirt on and he was dancing and doing martial arts stances, and him and the film crew were having fun and goofing around during short breaks between filming; but that is all that I can remember of this old video footage.

At some point some of our group (including Mr. Frank/Mr. Oliver, but not me) jumped/teleported/traveled to another planet and possibly time traveled, and the rest of us watched them using the screens/monitors.

They went to another planet that was in a prehistoric-like state/ time period, one of the people in the group had a mother with whitish colored skin who I think was maybe a scientist and/or had several jobs who once traveled to this planet but maybe during a different time period, and this person’s mother was possibly in the room with the rest of us who were watching the screens/monitors.

The team on the other planet found primitive alien dinosaurs and alien creatures and alien non-human animals on the planet, but for some unknown reasons they started attacking the aliens like it was a video game and/or like they were hunting them for sport and/or like their true mission was to kill them; and I was confused, and I did not agree with this and I said so but they did not listen to me and I was not there to stop them.

I remember the team learning a trick that allowed them to jump from under the ground to attack the aliens, which helped them to kill even more aliens, and at some point I think that they found a crater or several craters in a rocky and dirty area with no grass and maybe you could somewhat see space because maybe the atmosphere was thin; and they found a talking alien but I can not remember what he looked like, he knew the mother of one of the people on the team, the mother who once went to this planet before.

The talking alien was angry and he said that the mother had also attacked him and his planet years ago, he wanted revenge against the mother, and he wanted to stop the team who were attacking his planet now; and so maybe they started fighting the talking alien, and I was angry about this because he and his planet seemed to be the victims of the team from what I assume was Earth but they would not stop.

I wanted to know what was going on and what really happened in the past involving the mother who once attacked this planet, I felt that I had been tricked and lied to and that they did not tell us their real/true mission which now seemed like a kill mission, and I was afraid that they would start a war between our planets and/or kill all the aliens on that planet; and I wanted to learn the truth, and stop them if I still disagreed with what they were doing.

I remember angrily yelling at the mother asking her to tell me the truth and I warned her of the possible consequences of what they were doing which could effect/affect both planets, and she finally started to tell me what happened years ago when she went to that planet; but I can not remember what she told me or what happened next, and I woke up.

Agent K Helps A Boy

Dream 1

All that I can remember of this dream is that it was inspired by the television series Jessica Jones, it involved something that kept happening during the dream, and it involved someone with superpowers and someone without superpowers; but that is all that I can remember of this dream.

Dream 2

All that I can remember of this dream is that part of the dream involved my family and I out somewhere, maybe a large one-story windowless building, and after this part of the dream the dream became so unclear and confusing that I can not remember if I was myself during some parts of the dream or if I was a boy who became the main character during some parts of the dream or if I was just seeing things without being in the dream anymore during some parts of the dream; my guess is that the dream involved all of those perspectives and changes, and so that is why it is probably so confusing and unclear because it probably changed throughout the dream and there were time jumps throughout the dream and parts of the dream took place in space / outer space and on other planets.

At some point in the dream during the night a boy with whitish colored skin with short brownish colored hair in a bowl-like hairstyle saw something outside involving aliens and Agent K (Kevin Brown) from the film Men In Black (which I have never seen before), and after Agent K was finished dealing with the aliens/whatever he went to erase the boy’s memory of what he had seen; but for some unknown reason(s) he decided to do something else instead.

It seemed that maybe he felt that the boy was special and that the boy might be able to help save humanity by helping humanity survive aliens and expand to settle on other planets or something like that but that is my guess, and there was something else that he thought that the boy might be able to achieve but I never got to learn what that was.

So instead of erasing the boy’s memory, Agent K hid the memories of what had just happened along with all of his own knowledge of aliens and other things like that, and he sealed these memories and this knowledge to be automatically activated in the future at certain times and in different situations et cetera when needed to help the boy survive and help him save humanity et cetera.

There was a time jump in the dream and one day something happened and some of the memories were activated so the boy remembered what had happened and that aliens existed, he came in contact with some aliens, and something happened where he ended up getting to travel around outer space in spaceships dealing with aliens (friendly, unfriendly, neutral) in outer space and on other planets; and I guess some humans started to settle on other planets.

I remember the boy having some spaceship battles with some insect-like aliens in space, space was pretty dark and quiet and so were the spaceships that the boy used, and so things seemed realistic; and there was a specific mission that the boy wanted to achieve, I assume the unexplained one that Agent K hoped that he could achieve, and this mission involved finding something on an undiscovered planet that had not been settled yet but that is all that I learned about this mission during the dream.

I forgot to mention that I assume that Agent K was probably dead now and so the boy probably only had the memories and knowledge that Agent K gave him to remember and somewhat communicate with him by, these memories and this knowledge would activate and help him survive, and I remember this saving him in some of his spaceship battles against the insect-like aliens; and this allowed him to automatically know what kind of alien he was dealing with, their strengths and weaknesses, et cetera.

At some point in the dream the boy finally found the undiscovered planet where he hoped to find whatever he was looking for to achieve his mission, he wanted to keep this secret and he was supposed to go to the planet alone, but he decided to bring an older man and his daughter and part of their army who all wore maybe greenish and yellowish colored ancient Chinese-like armor as protection in case some aliens/someone tried to attack and get whatever he was looking for.

They landed on the unsettled planet and they reached a large one-story windowless building, the father and his daughter probably sent their army to guard the area, and they followed the boy into the building to look for whatever they were looking for; and I remember them walking through several areas until they reached a maybe bathroom-like area, and they started talking.

At some point something strange happened where suddenly some human tourists and/or settlers arrived on the planet, even though no one had known that it existed until now, and they entered the building; but then something happened where either aliens attacked the planet or someone betrayed them; and so now the boy and the father and his daughter and their army had to defend the settlers and planet and whatever they were looking for.

Even though they had part of an army, they were outnumbered by the aliens and the aliens had advanced weapons and spaceships, and there was no one to back them up unless the father and daughter could call the rest of their army and hope to survive until they arrived; and so the situation seemed bad, the boy probably had not found what he was looking for yet but he did not want everyone to die, and so he went to go help fight the aliens back until hopefully the rest of the army arrived instead of continuing his search for whatever he was looking for.

If they lost the battle then whatever he was looking for might be found by the aliens, the boy did not want that to happen and so this made the situation even worse, I was possibly in the dream but I can not remember; and I woke up as the boy was running to his spaceship to join the fight.

Ascension Leaders And Safety Officers

I forgot all of my dreams from last night except for barely part of my last dream which was inspired by the Syfy television mini-series that I watched the finale of last night called Ascension, and it probably took place on several different planets that looked a bit dark all the time (colors like dark bluish, dark purplish, and more).

It was like daydreaming in a dream where I kept daydreaming and/or having dreams within dreams on different planets involving various scenarios involving leaders and safety officers from Ascension, and each scenario was like a what-if situation trying to predict/test what each leader and safety officer might do if they were in charge.

Some television shows and films and more that I can not remember were partial inspirations for this dream as well, and I remember watching videos on a computer during various parts of the dream (and it is possible that some of those videos were a bit sexual and/or pornographic, but I can not remember).

The dream also covered the struggle between people trying to get and keep leadership positions and jobs, the politics and more involved in those things, and so I got to see some of the back room/background/secret deals and conversations and alliances and conflicts and more.

I also got to see and possibly take part in some of the scenarios as the leaders and safety officers did their jobs in various emergency situations, so most of the scenarios focused on emergency situations trying to determine/find/decide which leader and safety officer would best handle the emergencies, but that is all that I can remember of this dream.
