Jennelle Gets Arrested

All that I can remember of this dream is that I was probably at The BP Library talking with my coworker Mrs. JM, and I remember telling her a story that showed what seemed to be an example of discrimination/racial disparity/et cetera.

I told Mrs. JM a story about a woman with dark-color skin with black hair named Jennelle who had gotten arrested by the police for no clear reason, it was a mistake by the police that seemed to have happened because of the woman’s skin color/assumed race (for those who believe in that, I do not)/et cetera, and she was taken to jail.

Jennelle was in jail for possibly days or weeks before I found out, when I found out I called Jennelle’s mother who was a lawyer or who at least knew the law pretty well, and so Jennelle’s mother went to get her daughter out of jail.

It was day and for some reason a female police officer with light-color skin had Jennelle in a police car that was parked along a sidewalk, and Jennelle’s mom walked over to the police car and knocked on the door to get the police officer’s attention.

Jennelle’s mom explained who she was, why she was there, that the police had made a mistake, and that they were to release Jennelle immediately.

There was some yelling/arguing back and forth, the police officer pulled out her pistol and pointed it at one of them, and another police officer arrived and pointed his pistol at Jennelle’s mother.

Jennelle’s mother did not back off and eventually she managed to get the police to let Jennelle go, and Jennelle and her mother left to start preparing to sue the police/city/et cetera and force them to admit their mistake and apologize et cetera.

After telling Mrs. JM this story I probably got a mobile phone call from a man with light-color skin named Chris, he was someone I used to work with and/or go to school with it seemed, but I could not remember him exactly.

Chris told me about a situation that was the same as Jennelle’s except the police did not bother him or arrest him or anything.

Chris invited me to come visit him at an apartment that he was moving into in maybe a fictional city, I accepted the invitation, and then I told Mrs. JM about what Chris had said and how he was treated completely different from how Jennelle was treated even though they both had been in the same situation; and then I left by automobile to visit Chris.

I drove to the fictional city and I probably stopped at a store to get something as a gift but I can not remember, and then I arrived at the parking lot of the apartment that was outside his small one-story apartment building.

Chris greeted me and invited me inside the house, he had another man there with him who had light-color skin and who seemed to be his boyfriend, and they had some male and female friends there visiting and helping with the move in.

I felt a bit out of place, I only somewhat remembered Chris by feeling that I had briefly knew him in the past and I was not sure if he was a former classmate of mine or not, and I wondered how did he have my phone number and why would he call me years later and invite me to hang out.

The apartment was larger inside than you would think with a taller ceiling, it had an interesting somewhat rough modern slightly futuristic look to it, and it was pretty empty because they had not moved in much stuff yet.

Chris introduced me to everyone and I listened and talked a bit with them, at some point we sat down at a table talking, and Chris and his assumed boyfriend started to talk about how they were huge fans of Ricky Martin and they seemed to hint that they found him to be very attractive et cetera.

One of the men did not get the hint so he asked what they meant by that, I said something in response to give him another hint at what I assumed they had hinted at/meant, but I woke up after the conversation continued.

It was not until after I woke up that I realized that Chris was probably a slightly fictional version of my former male coworker C from The L Binding Service and his assumed boyfriend was probably a slightly fictional version of my former male coworker S from the same job who was probably C’s boyfriend back then.

The end,
