Here is a scene from the television show American Gods by Starz called American Gods | Lessons From Low Key Lyesmith | STARZ:

Here is a brief description of this video by Starz:

Sometimes the simplest advice is also the wisest.

Shadow avoids trouble at the airport with help from Low Key.

American Gods premieres April 30 on STARZ.

I think that they did a pretty good job with this scene, and I wish that they would have shown more interactions between Low Key and Shadow Moon.

The end,

American Gods

What is it?

The 2001 book American Gods by the author Neil Gaiman.

American Gods: Origins

What is it about?

The book is about a man named Shadow Moon, who is released early from prison after the death of his wife, Laura Moon.

On an airplane ride home to attend his wife’s funeral, he meets a mysterious man named Wednesday, who offers Shadow a job.

After this, Shadow ends up getting caught up in something more mysterious, strange, and serious than he expected.

As he travels around with Wednesday on a journey that combines bits of ancient mythology (the Old Gods (Deities)), and fictionalized mythology (the New Gods (Deities)) from a more American & modern perspective.

This is how Goodreads describe this book:

[Now a TV Series produced by FremantleMedia North America available internationally on Amazon, exclusively through Prime Video and starring Ricky Whittle, Ian McShane, Emily Browning, and Pablo Schreiber.]

Locked behind bars for three years, Shadow did his time, quietly waiting for the day when he could return to Eagle Point, Indiana.

A man no longer scared of what tomorrow might bring, all he wanted was to be with Laura, the wife he deeply loved, and start a new life.

But just days before his release, Laura and Shadow’s best friend are killed in an accident.

With his life in pieces and nothing to keep him tethered, Shadow accepts a job from a beguiling stranger he meets on the way home, an enigmatic man who calls himself Mr. Wednesday.

A trickster and a rogue, Wednesday seems to know more about Shadow than Shadow does himself.

Life as Wednesday’s bodyguard, driver, and errand boy is far more interesting and dangerous than Shadow ever imagined.

Soon, Shadow learns that the past never dies…and that beneath the placid surface of everyday life a storm is brewing – an epic war for the very soul of America – and that he is standing squarely in its path.

What do you like about it?

I like the idea of combining elements of ancient mythology & fictionalized mythology from a modern & American perspective.

Where you get to see different deities & other types of entities from ancient times & modern times interact with each other, and with humans.

AMERICAN GODS by Neil Gaiman – Book Review

What would someone else like about it?

I think that other people will also like the unique combination of ancient mythology & fictionalized mythology from an American & modern perspective.

I would like to warn readers that this book can be vulgar at times.

Deities Gathering For A Battle? | Talking About Luther

Last night I went to bed late and I did not voice record my dreams that I had during the night, and so now I can barely remember part of two dreams from last night.

Dream 1

This dream from last night was probably inspired by the book American Gods which I am still reading and which I read part of before going to sleep last night.
