DOMi & JD BECK: Tiny Desk Concert

What Is It?

The YouTube video DOMi & JD BECK: Tiny Desk Concert by the YouTube channel NPR Music:

DOMi & JD BECK: Tiny Desk Concert

Here is the description for this video:

Bobby Carter | August 10, 2022
If you’ve heard a DOMi & JD BECK song or watched a performance online, expectations of catching brilliance when you witness the jazz duo in person are likely high.

JD’s drumsticks move faster than the brain can process.

DOMi offers every appendage on her body to the keys.

It’s frantic but focused, and I can’t stop watching.

For as tight as the two artists are musically — and even physically; one of their few Tiny Desk requests was for the drums and keys to be set up as close as possible — they take silly self-deprecating jabs when they aren’t playing.

It’s believable until they transform and the music starts.

The two musicians come from two completely different parts of the world.

James Beck began cutting his teeth as young as eleven at jam sessions in Dallas.

DOMi, aka DOMi Louna, was born in France and raised on jazz, and enrolled at the Conservatoire Régional du Grand Nancy at five.

DOMi eventually made her way to the States via a Presidential Scholarship from the Berklee College of Music.

The two met at a trade show in 2018 and have been inseparable since, playing sets on YouTube and driving the internet nuts.

Before they knew it, they were rubbing elbows with the upper echelon in jazz, R&B, and hip-hop.

The duo’s debut album, ironically titled NOT TiGHT, is a graduation of sorts with all of their OGs lending a hand — notably Anderson.

Paak, who took DOMi and JD BECK under his wing and made the duo the first signee to his APES*** label.

The two brought highlights from that album to the Tiny Desk, including the vines, turf, and vibrant floral arrangements from the album cover.

Before “U DON’T HAVE TO ROB ME,” a true story turned comedy, they make another attempt at neutralizing the room.

DOMi says, “We’re gonna ruin it!” It’s too late for all of that.

We’re already amazed.

Shootings At A Parade

This dream involved me being inside a house sitting down watching TV with my mom, and we were watching a parade that possibly was also a race and / or competition of some kind with various individuals and companies and groups.

One of the parade floats had zoo animals stacked on top of the largest animal, I can not remember which animal was the largest, and one of the animals that was stacked on top of the largest animal was a rhinoceros (rhino).

Editing A PDF | Cleaning Vomit | A Creepy Smiling Doll Character

Dream 1

All that I can remember of this dream is that I was helping someone edit a PDF document, but that is all that I can remember of this dream.

Dream 2

All that I can remember of this dream is that it took place during the day, and I went to a slightly fictional version of W Park in the city of D.

A Family Who Randomly Transforms / Shapeshifts?

Dream 1

All that I can remember of this possible dream is seeing the character Alice Morgan from the television show Luther smiling with a somewhat mischievous grin like she was happy about something that was said or done.

My Baby Brother TDC Swallows A BB

Source: Wikimedia Commons

I am not sure if this is one or two dreams, and so I will type it as one dream.

The dream took place during the day at either a gas station-like place that was like the gas station in the city of D across from the big G Church or a gas station-like house where some of my family and I seemed to live at or work at or something.

In the first part I was there with my parents and my brother CC and at least one of my brothers who was a baby (toddler) again, and something was being made.

Whatever was being made needed an opening at the end, to possibly be used as a handle I assume, and so an opening had to be made by punching out a piece at the end and the punched out piece would fall on the floor.

My baby brother or brothers would try to pick the pieces up to chew on them, and I probably had to keep stopping him or them but that is all that I can remember of this part.

The next part took place in the same building, and I was there with my parents and my brother TDC who was a baby again (toddler) oddly.

I noticed some silver color BBs for a BB gun on the floor so I told my parents, we found the container that they went in, and we started trying to pick up all the BBs to put them in the container before my baby brother TDC sees them.

While we were doing this my baby brother TDC found a BB and he went to put it in his mouth as I yelled for him to not do it while I ran toward him, but he put it in his mouth while smiling happily before I could reach him.

I tried to open his mouth while continuing to tell him to not eat it while telling our parents what was going on, but he swallowed the BB while smiling and he was so happy that he had swallowed it before I could stop him.

I then talked to my parents about this to see what we should do now that he had swallowed it, and I wondered if my brother TDC would eventually defecate the BB out or not.

My brother TDC still looked so happy that he had managed to swallow the BB before I could stop him, it was funny even though the situation was not, and we continued picking up all the BBs while I kept an eye on my brother TDC as we talked about the situation.

But I woke up.

The end,
