What is it?

The 2018 Netflix animated television special episode Neo Yokio: Pink Christmas of the animated television show Neo Yokio.

What is it about?

This is how Netflix describes this animated television special:

Sing in me muse, and through me tell the story of that elegant young man who battled demons and celebrated Christmas in the greatest city in the world, Neo Yokio.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, until Neo Yokio’s second-most eligible bachelor Kaz Kaan gets a cold. Luckily, his mecha butler has a remedy.

The holidays take a hit as Kaz juggles the Secret Santa competition, his Aunt Angelique’s visit and his nemesis Arcangelo’s Christmas plotting.

Final Thoughts

Me and my brother GC watched this animated television special episode yesterday, I found out about it by accident when I found the trailer for it on YouTube, other than that I would not have known about it.

Me and my brother GC did not hate the Neo Yokio animated television show like most people did to our surprise, and we also did not hate this Christmas special either.

It is not the greatest television show or Christmas special or anything, but it is not as bad as most people think that it is in my opinion; but I can understand some of the reasons why most people hate it, and I am still surprised that I do not hate it because even I expected to hate this just like I expected to hate the show itself.

This special episode did not really need to exist though, but it did bring up a few new things that could be explored in the future if somehow this show got a second season.

I was not expecting this show to get any more episodes or anything after now much most people hated on it; I guess they did this special episode to troll the haters or something. 😀

Source: Wikipedia

What is it?

The 2014 surreal dark comedy short film and television special Too Many Cooks.

What is it about?

This is how Wikipedia describes this short film:

Too Many Cooks is a surreal dark comedy short that originally aired as a special during Adult Swim’s “infomercials” block on October 28, 2014, at 4:00 am Eastern Time.[2][3]

It was created, written, and directed by Casper Kelly, and produced by Williams Street.

After its original airing, the piece became a viral video online and was repeated each night at midnight Eastern Time during the week of November 11, 2014.

The line “too many cooks” was repeated 126 times.

This is how the IMDb describes this short film:

A series of montages that parodies the introductory title sequences of generic 70s, 80s and 90s TV shows of various genres slowly turns into an absurdist meta slasher and then the parody becomes even weirder.

Final Thoughts

This short film was strange, disturbing, and was filmed creatively.

Katt Williams: Great America

Source: IMDb

What is it?

The Netflix Katt Williams stand up comedy special Katt Williams: Great America.

What is it about?

This is how Rotten Tomatoes describes this stand up comedy special:

Veteran comedian, actor, rapper and social activist Katt Williams takes on a hit list of topics in his debut Netflix Original Stand-up comedy special, Katt Williams: Great America.

The polarizing and over-the-top poster figure for hard truth and underground comedy reflects on the current political climate, racial tensions in America, and his disdain of roast beef.

Final Thoughts

This was not as good as some other stand up comedy specials that I have seen by Katt Williams, it was not as funny or insightful compared to some of his previous work and he relied too much on playing to the city that he was in which made his routine seem a little lazy and not well prepared, and the sex topic went on too long and was not that funny.

I was hoping for more political commentary and political comedy, and more comedy about the current state of The United States but there was not as much of that as I had expected or hoped.
