Day Seven: Start Personalizing Your Site
You’ve got a theme you love – now it’s time to start personalizing!
Time to inject more personality.
Today, add a custom header image or background (or both).
Here’s how:
- First, head to the Customizer by clicking on the button below. Choose the Custom Header or Colors & Backgrounds tab.
- Next, upload a photo you love to use as a header — you can try a few — or preview some background colors.
- Finally, decide which you like, and click Save & Publish to apply them to your blog.
Nothing you try in the Customizer is permanent until you click Save & Publish, so experiment with colors!
Want to try a little graphic design?
You can use online tools like PicMonkey to create a free custom header in less than fifteen minutes.

I am using the Lazy Sleeping Star image as my blog’s site logo instead of a header image to save space and because I can use animated images this way and because the placement of header images in the Twenty Sixteen theme is not ideal for my needs, and I am using the default background color without a background image because I think that it looks good enough.
There was a time when I used header images, I still do experiment with them sometimes but rarely, and even further back I used an image of The Young Shepherdess painting as my blog’s background but I have not used custom background images for my blog in years.

The Artist’s Eye
The Daily Post had a Daily Prompt today called The Artist’s Eye, and the questions were:
Is there a painting or sculpture you’re drawn to?
What does it say to you?
Describe the experience.
(Or, if art doesn’t speak to you, tell us why.).
Dream 1
I started watching the film Vampire Academy before going to sleep but it got too late so I only saw half of the film and I plan on finishing the film today, I went to bed too late and I slept very well, and I barely remember part of several dreams that were all inspired by Vampire Academy.
My voice recording for this dream was very short and too unclear for me to completely understand because I had my MP3 player microphone too close to my mouth I guess, and so all that I could understand of my recording was that it involved the Moroi / vampire princess Lissa Dragomire (Vasilisa Sabina Rhea “Lissa” Dragomir) and her Dhampir bodyguard Rose Hathaway (Rosemarie “Rose” Hathaway).
I remember part of my last dream from last night that was somewhat inspired by the movie Aliens, which I watched part of last night before going to sleep, and all that I can remember of the dream is that at some point I was with some of my family during the day at a shopping center like the one where the Goodwill Computer Store used to be in the city of LC.
I can not remember most of the dream so most of the parts of the dream that were inspired by the movie Aliens are missing, I remember walking outside on the covered walkway, and there was a friendly lion outside in the parking lot; but suddenly another lion ran across the parking lot to attack some of my family and I, but the friendly lion started fighting the other lion. (All of the lions in the dream were male lions)
