Source: IMDb

What is it?

The 2018 superhero web television show Titans.

What is it about?

This is how DC Comics describes this television show:

Titans follows young heroes from across the DC Universe as they come of age and find belonging in a gritty take on the classic Teen Titans franchise.

Dick Grayson and Rachel Roth, a special young girl possessed by a strange darkness, get embroiled in a conspiracy that could bring Hell on Earth.

Joining them along the way are the hot-headed Starfire and loveable Beast Boy.

Together they become a surrogate family and team of heroes.

Final Thoughts

I found out about this television show after watching a YouTube video by the YouTube channel Double Toasted called DC TITANS CW TV SHOW SEASON 1 EPISODE 1 REVIEW – Double Toasted Reviews:

In that video they did not like the first episode and were not liking the show, and my brother GC decided to start watching it and so did I; and we did not hate the first episode like they did, and we actually kind of liked it.

This television show surprised us, it had pretty good production values for this kind of show, and it was grittier and more violent and more realistic and better than we had expected; and this is one of the best superhero television shows that I saw in 2018 to my surprise, and even Double Toasted started to like it after that first episode.

This show even managed to have an episode about some minor characters that was good, helped you learn about and better understand those characters lives, and it even made them more likable or at least relatable.

There are problems with this show changing various things about many of the characters compared to what many people are familiar with, and the actress who plays Raven is possibly the worst actress / actor in the show out of the main cast at least so I hope that her acting improves or that they will replace her.

I am curious to continue watching this show, it is definitely better than Iron Fist and Black Lightning.
