Dr. Strangelove Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb

This dream from last night was inspired by the film Dr. Strangelove Or: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Bomb, a film that I only saw part of years ago back in college during a history class taught by Dr. G, but last night I watched the entire film for the first time before going to bed.

This dream got interrupted possibly several times by me waking up and going back to sleep, and the dream took place in a dimly lit building that felt like it was underground and it seemed apartment-like even though it was probably a bunker-like war room where various high-level people were gathering because something had happened or was happening.

For some unknown reason I was there, most or all communications seemed to be cut off because of whatever was going on or we could not get the communications to those who needed it because they had their communications off as part of some kind of emergency protocol or something, and so basically this dream was following parts of the Dr. Strangelove film.

There was a lot of tension and complicated bureaucratic protocols (manuals, codes, briefing, et cetera) that had to be followed which was a bit boring and ridiculous, and there was a small buffet with a woman behind the buffet bar serving the food so I stood in line to get some food.

There was a man who was probably from Japan (Japanese) standing in the line as well, and I remember listening and watching the long boring complicated series of protocols being followed as I waited in line for some food.

But that is all that I can remember of this dream.

The end,
