My local Burger King was a few days late in getting the Impossible Whopper, I was disappointed when they did not have it when I first went there, but they finally got it on Saturday or Friday; and so I was able to try it finally.
To my surprise this burger tastes pretty close (maybe 70 – 80% similar) to a normal Whopper, it was not as moist so it was dryer, it did not have as much grilled and smoked flavor, the texture was slightly different, but it was not bad.
I did not taste the patty by itself to have a better idea of how the patty tastes alone unfortunately, but I imagine that red meat fans will notice the difference more than me.
I think that most people (more than 51%) will find this burger acceptable enough as a substitute to the normal Whopper, it may not be better in flavor than a normal meat patty yet, but it is close.
It did not taste or feel as unhealthy as having a normal Whopper, and so I felt better after eating the medium Impossible Whopper combo with two Burger King Crispy Tacos than I would have if I had eaten the normal meat based Whopper.
I hope that Impossible Foods and Burger King will continue to produce more and even better plant-based meat alternatives, and I hope that more businesses will start having these kinds of products available for sale alongside their normal products.
I recommend giving this burger a try, you might be surprised, plant-based meat alternatives have improved it seems; and so we should give them a chance at least.
I barely can remember my first dream, it took place at the library in D.
As usual the library was similar but different from the one in real life, and I am not sure if I was in the dream or if I even was myself in the dream.
I remember two male teenagers and one female teenager were in the library talking and looking around for books.
I know one of the male teenagers and the female teenager had blond hair and whitish color skin, but I can not remember much else about them.
I think they were the main characters of the dream and there was a certain book that they were looking for.
They probably talked about different topics as they looked around the library, but that is all I can remember about this dream.
Burger King
My second dream took place at the Burger King by the M in LC at night-time.
I was there with my friend MT and two unknown women, and maybe my friend JB.
I think the dream started with me going inside the Burger King and I saw JB & MT, so I stopped to talk to them.
After a while JB had to go so he left, and then two unknown women came inside as JB was leaving.
MT seemed to know one of the women, so he went to their table, and I followed.
They both had black hair and brown colored skin, but one of the women had shorter hair than the other.
MT was using his flirting skills on them as usual, but I had the feeling that him and the woman with the longer hair use to date.
I mostly just sat there and listened, I felt a little uncomfortable, but tried to relax.
The woman with the shorter hair was laying on the table like it was her couch or something as MT and the woman with the longer hair talked to each other.
During one point in the conversation someone started talking about some new Rihanna song, and the woman with the shorter hair looked at me & asked me if I had heard the song.
I told her no and told her that I was out-of-date with the current music scene, and that I have listened to mostly international music for the past few years; also I told her that I did not know much about Rihanna or her music.
She started to laugh and then said that I need to update myself with the current music scene, and said that she was Rihanna.
I was shocked and thought she was joking, but MT and the woman with the longer hair laughed at me and said: “You did not know that?”
I told them no and apologized for not recognizing her, and I told her that she did kind of look like Rihanna but that she looked more down-to-earth (normal/common) than I had expected.
She said something and we started to laugh, and then I woke up.
Demi-Gog
This was my last and favorite dream of the night, it took place on the eastside of D.
I was at my parent’s house and wanted to go through the neighborhood for some reason, but I felt like riding a scooter or something instead of driving my automobile.
So I found some homemade scooter that appeared to have been made from iron that was welded together, with two tires.
I rode the scooter across the neighborhood to a quiet road that was by the forest so that I could think, it was a nice sunny day with a nice small breeze.
I remember thinking about some old memories and stories my dad told me about the neighborhood, as I rode the scooter through a small trail in the forest.
The trail led to a road made of gravel rocks that led back to the paved road that connects to the neighborhood, but I noticed another trail that went in a circle which led back to the paved road so I decided to go through that trail.
This trail was quieter and I started to feel a little scared for some reason, I felt that there might be a wild animal or something in there, so I rode through the trail as fast as I could but the scooter tires were breaking.
I made it to the paved road, but the scooter was in bad condition so I started to walk.
I passed by a few houses with people and kids playing, and I found an old pair of skates so I put them on & started to skate.
As I was skating I noticed some police automobiles passing by, and they looked like they were going on an illegal drug bust or something.
I forgot to mention that earlier in the dream as I was leaving my parent’s house, I saw the police stop a man who had illegal drugs, but the man was a family member of one of the police officers so they let him go.
As I got closer to my parent’s house, I saw the police talking to the same man who had drugs earlier, he got caught again with illegal drugs.
A police officer was telling him that he needed to stop using illegal drugs and that even though he is a family member, he will one day be taken to jail if he keeps getting caught.
The man agreed that he had a problem, and said that he would try to change.
I kept walking until I got to my parent’s house, but then the dream changed to a commercial-like scene.
I was no longer in the dream, but there was a man who looked like André 3000 being interviewed about a film that he was working on.
He said that ever since he was a kid, he always wanted to make his own version of the film Demi-Gog (which I have never heard of in real life or anything similar to it).
The interviewer said that many people had already made their version of the film, and that many critics say that it is a waste of time.
The interviewer then played clips of actors, actresses, producers, directors, critics, and other people’s reactions to the news about him working on the film Demi-Gog.
Some said that it was over done, some said that it was pointless, some said that it was cliché(d), some said that there were already too many films for Demi-Gog, and many other negative comments.
But the man who looked like Andre 3000 looked happy and was not bothered by their comments at all, and he said that they may disagree but this is something he really wanted to make.
He said that he has already started working on the film, and even had a small teaser trailer for the film, so the interviewer took a moment to show it.
The teaser trailer started with the man who looked like Andre 3000 sitting in a dimly lit room or laboratory at night-time all alone, and he was working intensely on something.
He had his hair straight and somewhat wild, almost like Andre 3000 in the music video Hey Ya, and was wearing what appeared to be a scientist’s lab coat.
He was sitting at a desk that had a window behind him, and you could see a full moon through the window, but I could not see what he was working on exactly.
There was music playing in the background with a choir singing in a way to build suspense, like something big was going to happen or explode, and then the man raised his hands in the air and said: “I’ve finished, I’ve finally finished it!” (Or something like that); as the choir sung in a dramatic way.
As this was happening you could see two screens in the windows flashing some other clips from the film, but the trailer ended with a dark screen with text and a voice saying: “Coming soon, and mentioned the year it was coming out (which I forgot.)”; then I woke up.
That was interesting, I actually remembered the name of the film from the dream, Demi-Gog (what a strange but interesting name).
The name was said several times so it was no mistake, it was Demi-Gog not Demi-God, I only know one other Gog and that was Gog & Magog in the Christian bible.
But I have never seen the words Demi and Gog together like that, how interesting.
