My Thoughts
Years ago I saw the trailer for this movie and it looked like Will Smith was going to be serious and do some good acting and I was not exactly sure what the movie was about, and so I wanted to see it.
Somehow I ended up never watching it until recently when my female coworker JB recommended it, and she let me borrow her DVD of it.
I finally watched this movie and I am glad that I finally got to see it, it was possibly even better than I had expected, it was serious and well acted (except for maybe some of Will Smith’s facial expressions and occasional oddities, and Octavia Spencer was wasted in her role), and it was great to see Will Smith trying to act and trying to be serious instead of mostly relying on his natural charisma and personality as much.
This was possibly one of the best performances that I have seen by Will Smith, Rosario Dawson did a great job and was a natural fit in her role, Woody Harrelson had a surprising role but it was too limited, this movie was sad but it also had some happy moments that made me smile, and this movie had a nice romance.
This movie does feel slower than it probably really is which can be / is a problem depending on your mood et cetera, but it seems that it was intentionally made that way and even the cinematography seems slower and deliberate and it was pretty good.
This movie was probably longer than it should have been though.
I liked this movie, though the feel of the pacing and the pacing itself and the movie’s length could be problem if I had to rewatch it again depending on my mood so I probably would not like it as much on a second viewing, but this was another good recommendation by my coworker JB; and I would like to thank her for letting me borrow this movie.
All that I can remember of the end of this dream is that it took place during the day and I was traveling by foot with several other people between one or more cities / states / countries, and I remember us walking along highways by forests and the wilderness and the countryside and various neighborhoods.
It was a nice experience traveling like this with the nice nature views, but at some point we reached another city / state / country so we were in city limits in maybe a downtown like area with somewhat large buildings.
I am not sure if there was a digital sign that was playing a news report or not, but somehow I remember us hearing that the actor Jaden Smith was angry with his father Will Smith about something involving some charity work involving Will Smith in another country.
I am not sure about the details but Jaden Smith was calling out Mr. Smith about this, and Jaden was going to that country himself to do his own charity work there to help the people there.
We reached a courtyard-like area between some buildings after crossing a street, and we noticed that on the ground there were bricks and maybe memorial-like objects with text (maybe names and years et cetera) carved on them.
As we were trying to figure out what this was for and if stepping on them was wrong and disrespectful, we heard a noise, and we looked up to see that a man with light-color skin in our group had possibly knocked over one of these memorial-like objects by accident.
A male security guard or police officer with light-color skin walked over to him, but as they were talking something strange happened that I can not remember clearly.
I am not sure if this came out of the object that got knocked over or from the ground that it was covering or from someone, either way a ghost / spirit-like ball of light / mist / smoke / whatever flew up toward the man in our group, and I think that it possessed him.
I assumed that this ball of light was a ghost or spirit or entity, I assumed that maybe it was the ghost or spirit of someone who had died whose grave was disturbed when the man in our group accidentally knocked the cover off of it or the memorial object for it over, and then I quickly went to exorcise the spirit or entity from the man.
I am not sure what I did exactly, maybe I physically beat the spirit out of him but I can not remember, I just know that I did something very quickly to the man that caused the spirit or entity to leave his body.
The spirit or entity (which was still a ghost-like ball of light / mist / smoke / whatever) then hit my leg, I am not sure if it was trying to possess me too or not, and I am not sure if it went inside my body or inside someone else’s body or where it went.
I just remember waking up not knowing where it went or if I was possessed now or not.
Dream 2
All that I can remember of this dream is that it took place during the evening or night when it was dark, and I was at a fictional house that my family and I lived in and my mom and my brother GC and one of my other brothers were there too.
I think that I was inside the house at first when I noticed a car drive into our yard, a woman and a man with light-color skin who seemed to be a couple parked their car in our yard, and they got out to walk in the back of our yard like maybe they wanted to see our pets and / or like our yard was a small park or something like that.
The couple was holding hands looking happy as they walked through the back of our yard, I watched them from the window and the back door, but I probably did not bother them and at some point they got back in their car and they started to drive away.
Right before I was about to go back to what I was doing I noticed a creepy white van or ice cream-like truck very slowly driving past our yard briefly blocking the couple from driving out of our yard, after it passed the couple drove away, but I walked outside to see if the creepy truck or van would turn around.
Something about that van or truck did not seem right to me so I was on alert, like I expected the van or truck turned around and it drove into our yard, and I could see and hear that there were many cages on it with what seemed to be dogs inside so I walked back into the house to tell my family.
My mom acted like she was expected them and she wanted one of us to go outside to greet them but I wanted nothing to do with this other than watching to make sure that they did not try anything, and I did not trust them and I had a bad feeling about this.
My mom went to go greet them so one of my brothers and I followed her, the person driving the van or truck was an old somewhat overweight woman with gray / white hair with light-color skin, and she seemed suspicious to me and I did not trust her even though she was acting like a somewhat nice old lady.
The old woman had taken all of the dogs out of the cages, it seemed that she was selling them, and it seemed that my mom was going to buy two of the dogs so she needed to pick which two she wanted but I did not think that this was a good idea and I was against this.
The dogs were acting wild and barking and some of them were acting aggressive, and I noticed that some of them or all of them looked very strange like medium-to-large werewolf-like dogs.
The strangest of the dogs looked like the oldest and meanest and like the dog who was the leader, I assumed that it was a male, and it was a strange blueish color with medium-length wet-like human-like hair on its head so it looked almost like a combination of Michael Corvin’slycan (werewolf)-vampire hybrid form from the Underworld movies combined with a dog.
My brother GC walked over to the dogs and he got in the face of the most aggressive dogs including the leader, and he looked them in the eyes and he yelled at them to shut-up (be quiet) until they mostly got quiet and sat down except for the leader and a few who were growling at him.
I decided to walk over there to back my brother up because the leader was still growling, and then the leader slowly surrendered and he sat down quietly as well so now my mom could pick which two she wanted.
I still did not like this, I think that I heard some voices in the distance, and so I walked away to investigate and I saw and overheard two men with light-color skin talking outside the yard in the darkness.
One of them was a bald rough strong-looking man wearing a dark-color jacket with a lower class British accent, and they were talking about their plan which was to sell two dogs to our family who would probably kill my family so that they could take our land.
I then went to warn my family about this, but I woke up.
Dream 3
All that I can remember of this dream is that I was with some of my family (my parent’s and one or more of my brothers) outside during the day I think, and I remember the actor Sylvester Stallone walking by us and he stopped because he recognized my dad.
Mr. Stallone told my dad that he looked familiar, he paused for a moment trying to remember how he knew my dad, and then he remembered an old memory from back when he met my dad.
My dad did not remember at first so Mr. Stallone reminded my dad about the time that they met many years ago back when my dad was still in the military, but I can not remember the story that Mr. Stallone told but I do know that it was a positive memory that they laughed about.
Mr. Stallone said that he wanted to recreate that memory in one of his movies one day and that he would contact my dad if that day ever comes, my dad probably gave him his mobile phone number, and they briefly talked before saying goodbye.
I did not get much sleep and I went back to sleep without voice recording my dreams, and so I only remember part of several dreams and surprisingly I had a lot of dreams even thought I got no more than 4 hours of sleep.
Dream 1
This dream was inspired by episode 7 (The Dragon And The Wolf) of the television show Game Of Thrones (Season 7) that I watched before going to sleep.
All that I can remember of this dream is that it involved some things from that episode with a focus on Daenerys Targaryen and her dragons, and Cersei Lannister.
Daenerys and her allies were focused on preparing for the battle against the White Walkers, and Cersei was preparing to break the truce and attack her enemies when they are busy with the White Walkers.
There was more to this dream of course, but that is all that I can remember of this dream.
Dream 2
All that I can remember of this dream is being inside a windowless building that I assume was a college building, probably a dorm, and I seemed to be moving into this dorm along with some other students who seemed to be college freshmen.
I needed to use the bathroom so I walked down a long carpet hallway and I took a left and there was a bathroom on the right with possibly had a large opening with no door, and I probably needed to urinate.
I remember standing up at a urinal urinating or trying to urinate, for some reason I was naked and my clothes were near me, and at some point I heard some mostly female voices including some children walking up the hallway like they were on their way to the bathroom so I started trying to put my clothes on.
They approached the bathroom as I was putting on my clothes, I remember several children seeing me, and one of them was a girl with light-color skin with long straight yellow hair who was staring at me like there was something wrong with me and like she was afraid that I might be a criminal or dangerous.
Another was a boy with light-color skin with short hair who greeted me and he was very friendly, they seemed to be family members of some of the students moving into the building, and so I assume that they were there to help and see the assumed dorms.
The boy asked me a few questions and we briefly talked before I walked back to my assumed dorm room which was a shared room that was mostly open except for one or two rooms, and at least 5 or more people were going to share this room with me oddly.
There were twin sized beds and computer desks set up, and I remember a male student with light-color skin and I choosing our beds and then trying to adjust them to maximize space in the room.
While we were doing this a female student with light-color skin with long yellow hair entered the room with her family (parent’s and younger siblings (maybe the kids who went to the bathroom earlier)), I greeted them, and I remember the female student smiling at me and I smiled back.
She picked her bed which was across from mine and her family and her started moving in and adjusting her stuff while the male student and I tried to maximize our space, the female student glanced at me and smiled a few times during this, but at some point something was said or done by someone that led to a misunderstanding where she became angry at maybe me and / or someone and she walked off.
I wanted to correct this misunderstanding, and so I hoped to talk to her later.
I remember going to my computer desk et cetera trying to decide how to position it to maximize space because space was limited when you have to share it with so many people, but I woke up as I was doing this.
Dream 3
The 3rd and the 4th and the 5th dreams were possibly one dream or two dreams or more but I am not sure, and so I am separating them.
All that I can remember of this dream is that it took place during the day and I remember being in an area that seemed like the downtown area of the city of D, and my mom and the actor Will Smith and several other people were driving in a van through this area going in the direction past the I Theater.
I was possibly walking along side the van and / or I was in the van at first, Mr. Smith was sitting in a middle seat on the right side by the side doors and windows looking happy and he was smiling, and his seat belt was stuck in the door but he did not notice.
My mom asked me to fix this and so I remember being outside of the van as it was moving probably, and I opened the door and I remember Mr. Smith looking angry at first as I tried to get his seat belt out of the door.
I tried to calm him down and explain the situation, I probably had to hold on to the side of the doors as the van drove while I did this, and Mr. Smith calmed down and I got his seat belt out of the door and I closed the door but I can not remember if I stayed outside or if I got inside the van.
And that is all that I can remember of this dream.
Dream 4
All that I can remember of this dream is that maybe an early part of the dream and a later part of the dream took place in a slightly different version of a building that was in one of my past dreams, in my past dream The BP Library was in the front and hidden in the back was a nice hotel and resort-like place and various other areas, but in this dream the library was not there and the building was reopened as a hotel and resort et cetera and people could pay to explore it and buy things if they were not going to stay at the hotel / resort.
People who knew some of the employees could get a free pass to explore and buy things if they were accompanied by an employee.
I remembered this building from the past back from the other dream when the front was the library and the other areas were abandoned, and I knew someone who worked there now who possibly got me a free pass to explore it.
At the end of the dream there was something going on, I contacted the employee I knew, and this employee helped me by taking me to this building to get me a free pass so that I could get inside the building.
I possibly needed to hide from someone or something, so this was possibly a good place for me to hide, but I can not remember.
There was a woman with light-color skin with black hair working at the entrance booth, there were other people waiting to pay to enter the building, and when it was our turn the female employee was giving us a hard time.
I tried to explain that I used to work here and that I knew an employee and that we needed to get a free pass, and I shared some information to prove this.
But that is all that I can remember of this dream.
Dream 5
All that I can remember of this dream is that it took place during the day, I heard rumors about people getting hit while walking near streets and witnesses say that they could not see what hit the people like it was invisible or something, and maybe all the victims would maybe disappear and / or die if you look away from them at some point but I can not remember the details of the rumors or some of the important details of this dream so except errors and missing information.
I am not sure if I was in an automobile or not at first, I just know that at some point my mom and maybe a man and I were walking along the side of a street on the left side, and maybe this fictional area was somewhat familiar to us.
There was a field or several fields, this area looked somewhat like N Street in the city of D, and up ahead was a neighborhood where some people said some racist country lower class dangerous cult-like group of people with light-color skin lived.
I did not believe the rumors about people getting hit by something invisible, the rumors said that the victims would fly in the air and their bodies would twist from the impact, I just thought that it was probably a fake rumor or legend.
But as we were walking something hit my mom and she flew in the air and her body twisted before she hit the street, I did not see anything but maybe I felt or sensed that something fast like an automobile had hit her and kept going, and I remember feeling panicked and shocked and sad et cetera but I tried to stay calm as I ran to my mom while looking around trying to see what hit her.
When my mom got hit it was a bit like something from the anime television show Paranoia Agent when this female character looked like she got hit by something:
My mom was either dead or dying and unconscious, I still could not see what hit her, but I possibly saw evidence on the ground that something probably physical but maybe invisible and / or too fast to see did hit her.
I looked for clues and I probably yelled for the other person to call emergency services and they probably did, there was nothing that I could do for my mom and maybe she disappeared when I looked away at some point but I can not remember, and so I started focusing on trying to investigate and gather clues now that I knew that the rumors were true.
Some people thought that it was the racist assumed cult-like group of people with light-color skin who lived in this area were responsible for this, the rumor was that this was maybe some kind of magic or something done through a ritual so something supernatural or paranormal, but I was not so sure that they were responsible.
I was not sure if some kind of cloaking technology or ability was being used or if this was supernatural or paranormal or if it was just something or someone who was too fast to see, I just knew that I wanted to figure out who or what was responsible and stop them and save my mom if she was still alive, but I woke up as we waited for emergency services while I investigated the area and tried to gather clues and evidence.
