Summary
“A ragtag crew of podcasters sets out to investigate mysterious disappearances from decades earlier in a charming Irish town with dark, dreadful secrets.“
— Official Netflix synopsis
“BODKIN (wt) is a darkly comedic thriller about a motley crew of podcasters who set out to investigate the mysterious disappearance of three strangers in an idyllic, coastal Irish town.
But once they start pulling at threads, they discover a story much bigger and weirder than they could have ever imagined.
As our heroes try to discern fact from fiction — about the case, about their colleagues, and, most painfully, themselves — the series challenges our perception of truth and exposes the stories we tell ourselves to justify our beliefs or validate our fears.”

My Thoughts
The cover for this TV show caught my attention, and Netflix recommended it to me because I liked the TV show Killing Eve.
So I decided to watch the first episode, the first episode started pretty good, and it reminded me of an episode from Black Mirror.
So I decided to keep watching this show.
I liked Siobhán Cullen as the character Dove Maloney, and I like how the show showed her bad traits & good ones & the in-between.
Unlike with the TV show Killing Eve, which I also like, Bodkin did not present her & other people’s negatives as a good thing most of the time, and people called her & others out for the bad things that she / they did & there were consequences for their bad actions.
This is something that Bodkin did better than Killing Eve, Bodkin shows how I think Killing Eve should have done things in that regard.
I still like Killing Eve better overall, but I also like Bodkin & I respect Bodkin for the aspects that they did better.
I recommend checking Bodkin out, I would rate it a 4 out of 5.
The end,
