What is it?
What is it about?
This is how Wikipedia describes this video game:
Chrono Cross was designed primarily by scenarist and director Masato Kato, who had help from other designers who also worked on Chrono Trigger, including art director Yasuyuki Honne and composer Yasunori Mitsuda.
Faced with an alternate reality in which he died as a child, Serge endeavors to discover the truth of the two worlds’ divergence.
The flashy thief Kid and many other characters assist him in his travels around the tropical archipelago El Nido.
Struggling to uncover his past and find the mysterious Frozen Flame, Serge is chiefly challenged by Lynx, a shadowy antagonist working to apprehend him.
This video game is on my list of best, favorite, and most nostalgic video games of all time.
It also has some of the most memorable and best and most nostalgic music and opening of any video game that I have played, and just hearing part of some of the songs and seeing the opening (which you can see in the first video of this post) can bring back memories and feelings and emotions and make me almost tear up.
This is a video game that my brothers used to sometimes watch me play and sometimes they would play it as well, and so this video game is associated with some positive memories of a time when my brothers and I spent time together and had fun.
There is so much that I can say about this game and so many memories and stories that I could talk about that are associated with this game, but I will not because it would take way too long and I would still miss things. 😀
It is a shame that they never made another Chrono game yet, and I think that this video game would have become more popular if they had continued developing it a bit so that they could have released it on the PlayStation 2 console instead and it would have been even better.
